Awesome vid! A thing I like to do when I do my free hand work is pick the hair out and spray some hair spray on the hair. It hold the hair in place and gives that little extra detail work you need. Hook was for sure poppin

im real critical because I am learning to cut, and i think this video does a good job. I do feel the blend could be smoother towards the top and the line-up needs better symmetry. Other than that overall a great cut. I just thought i should leave some constructive criticism. Learning to cut hair is tough especially when everyone tells you that your work looks good. As barbers sometimes we need a more skilled eye to give feedback.

Very nice cut. Only thing I would have done different is make the hooks a little bit deeper in towards the ear. I know people always go on about no push backs and keep the hairline natural but in this case you can get away with it because he has nice thick hair and a nice hairline to work with. Would have just made the line up look that little bit more crispy. Still a nice haircut though.

Hey Pa, can you put the system you use in the video or the description box so I can screen shoot it and save it for later and use it while I'm cutting
@conceptbarbershop7 жыл бұрын
Trissyann Tracey hey I’ll do it right now for you. 1. Comb out the hair 2. Shape up the hair to their likings (I recommend finding a point of reference So that u can gauge the shape up) 3. Clipper all the way close to create the baldline, one side at a time to meet it in The back of the head. 4. Again clipper all the way close to start the blend but this time a bit of the flicking motion. Go all the way around the head, then open the clipper about a quarter of the way, and now blend up about a quarter of an inch(gauge it with the size of the head). This back to the other side of the head. Continue back and forth until your clipper is fully open. 5. Move to the zero guard and repeat the same step as previous. 6. Then use the 1 guard and again use the same steps 7. Now use the 1.5 guard repeat the same steps but use more flicking motion to complete the blend. The trick is to finish the blend but to keep it low. Because we’re doing a drop fade. 8. And then move on to the 2 guard. Same steps to completely blend it out. If u to u can also use the clipper over comb technique to finish the blend. 9.now move onto the hairline line up. Start in the middle of the forehead to set the Starting point. Then go towards the side That is up higher on the forehead. Then again start back in the middle and work towards the other side to match the side u just completed. 10. And now go back and freehand and shape up the haircut.

Miguel Estrada great question brother! Yes absolutely! If the hair on the side is super long and difficult to work with, taking it down with a number 2 can make it easier to work with

I like 99% of your haircuts just not this one. It looks like a light bulb. With so much hair on the top I think it would look better with a low taper and not so much over hang in the front. But if this is what the client wants, then so be it.
