I've been running a set of wildpeaks trails in 235/65/17 size on my 21' rav4 . Went with the XL load rating . Much better road manners and handles better than the 225 stock size . 30000 kms on them and very happy with the performance in winter ! Highly recommend

We bought this vehicle today (a 2022) Color and all. Have the 19” Yokohamas. I’d like the vehicle to be a couple of inches taller- more hip height to make it easier for me to get in and out of since I’ve got some physical limitations. What tires and/or wheels would you suggest perhaps to make it a bit taller for me? Or would I have to add a lift kit? Thank you in advance for your help.

Any reason for going down in wheel diameter from 19" to 17"s? Is a re-calibration of odometer/speedometer required?

Only if diameter size is different if diameter remains the same all is well

All terrains are made to air down for offroad.. will keepnyou from getting stuck.. dead.. more rubber also softens ride offroad 😊

Smaller diameter means more sidewall. Softer ride on road, more protection and traction off road.

Look up what the snow flake symbol actually means, if you you cross compare catogories on tire rack , you will find non snow flake symbol tires that have better braking and acceleration on snow and ice This is a copy paste from tire rack What is the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol? Testing measures a tire's acceleration traction on medium-packed snow only. Braking and turning on snow, along with ice traction are not components of the test. Tires branded with the 3PMSF symbol are expected to provide improved snow traction beyond a standard M+S branded all-season tire, however 3PMSF-branded all-season and all-terrain tires cannot match the traction of dedicated winter / snow tires in all winter weather conditions and should not be considered a replacement for where and when a dedicated winter tire is needed.
