You left more foliage on the heel cuttings than I thought was good for rooting. I’ve always just left the terminal growth with two additional leaves. Good to know that is not always true.

@@janecurtis5726 Yes it depends on the cutting Jane. These already effectively had roots developing so would be fine. Ordinary cuttings would need much less leaf growth to lessen the stress as you describe.
