Great videos mate! CRF 110s are great little bikes. I think I use it more on the farm than the kids do:)) She might be just about ready for a 125 though. Its a shame they don't do an auto model.

Man that was a back breaking video, amazing content. I do feel sorry for you dealing with the green ingenious. So you were blasting water up the drains to unclog them I take it? Cheers.

I remember Wal Footrot planting poplar poles against a fence line and a heifer pocking it’s head under the fence and chewing them off at ground level.😅..Yep methane tax in Denmark,£80/head...that’s basically all the profit on a bought in feeder.They keep trying. Organic farming in Sri Lanka caused riots on the streets as they ran out of food in 6 months,Denmark methane tax,land grab in Holland and on and on goes the circus.

Hi, have you got some closeup photos of the poplars you planted last time? Just curious how they look ... or maybe in a couple of months during springtime.

They don't look like much at the moment but will update in spring when they sprout again.

In reference to the Bovine in NZ raised for the production of Dairy for Export overseas there is approximately 5 million Dairy Bovine in commercial production in NZ , but across the Indian Ocean in India there are some 300 million Bovine raised for the production of Dairy Products mostly consumed within India itself , so there are 190 Million Dairy Cattle and 110 Million Buffalo in the the country producing 190 Million Tons of Milk. Last year the Indian Government reluctantly signed up to the Paris Accord on Methane etc , for which the average farmer in India will just ignore as most Herds consist of between 3 to 5 Dairy Cows or Buffalo which are all milked by hand and poured into Aluminium Urns for collection to the Processing Plants

Thanks for your vlog, A question: Does wool pay for itself or is it offset against the carcass, lambing price? I know it complicated but if your farming for wool does it pay?
@deedawson6074
@deedawson6074 Ай бұрын
Alistair will know, but it my experience it barely pays for the shearing. Some farmers are looking at self shedding breeds. Very sad for such a wonderful product. I have seen a vineyard experimenting with laying the raw sheared product under the vines for a weed mat (from experience it works very well as a weed mat). Apparently it has also had positive evidence of improving ripening from the reflection off the white wool. Wool hasn’t been worth much for over 30 years and seems to be an issue worldwide wide.

I see the Danish government is bringing in a methane tax on cattle by 2030 glad to see some common sense in NZ. Is there any research done in NZ on how much carbon dioxide is needed to just grow a kilogram of DM of grass never I would love to know if the farm grew 10t/DM/Ha in a year how much carbon was need then we could talk about true farm emissions.
@kiwifarmernz
@kiwifarmernz Ай бұрын
I just read about the Dutch , payment starting on 2030. I should look into the CO2 requirements for grass growth.

I was watching Cami in Fed By Farmers the other day - he was saying NZ is having a problem with worm resitance in our sheep - is this correct or are we being careful so this does not happen - about 30 years ago farmers had that feeling as well, this is prior to worming testing fecal matter and we did a major cull of all sheep, ewe's, lambs and rams with dirty bums - not all had worm problems but also poor gut health and so the farmers did not want to breed the poor gut health on into future flocks - NZ farming is talked about quite a bit on his channel - he did take my comment on board when discussing NZ lamb going into the UK and why our prices were so good?? (for them not our farmers) I explained our farmers are getting NZ$110-120 per lamb live weight and so 50-60 pounds compared to their 130-160 pounds per head - our farmers could only wish for NZ$260-320 a head if converted from pounds to NZ$
@kiwifarmernz
@kiwifarmernz Ай бұрын
This is very much the case. About 40 percent of sheep farmers are resistant to triple drenches. It's a huge issue. The price issue is very frustrating also.

I wonder if all the aircraft and shipping companies- and let’s be honest here, they are massive pollution producing industries, have to pay a carbon tax.

I wonder if the Beehive is carbon neutral. All the carbon money tax stuff is just to pay for the silly people that have got carbon jobs. If the carbon tax people can stop making carbon when they breathe I might stop burning tires
