“Maybe I’m just callous” made me laugh so hard 😂 after Return of the Native, I’m surprised Hardy made it on this list. Can’t wait to start Oathbringer! 🎉🎉🎉 Also, Claire is obsessed with Shakespeare too, so if that’s not normal for teenagers, it’s REALLY not normal for her. Weird homeschoolers unite! 😂

@@whitneydrewI love James Herriot, or How to be a good creature by Sy Montgomery. My family and other animals by G Durrell. Lessons from a sheep dog by Philip Keller. Those are all nonfiction books about animals and peoples. Fiction wise - pig scrolls by shipton, the Arkadians by Alexander, where the red fern grows, cricket in time square, Th one & only Ivan, or Odder by Applegate, watership down by adams, Dick king smiths martins mice, Mrs Frisby and the rats if NIMH, any and all Redwall!
