Hello! I am pretty much from a farm and my mom is a vet tech so I have allll the pet experience! What I recommend is steam cleaning!! Steam mop your hard wood, and steam clean your carpet! And I use the cleaner Tropiclean, it’s natural and will kill fleas. It also smells good, and won’t harm pets! Also make sure your laundry is washed in hot water, and you can set up flea traps with dawn and how water in dark places. I hope this helps!

If you haven’t already you need oral medication for the fleas! The collars and drops won’t work for an infestation.

I just got a new kitty too! he was full of flees. I used dawn dish soap it killed the flees immediately and then I gave the kitten flees treatment. Dawn dish soap works miracles. You should not use it as often just use it to kill the flees the one time, because it can make their skin dry.
