Looks great! I would recommend changing the way that your TV is powered. Having the cord run through the wall like that is against code and is a fire hazard. That way of running cables is meant for low voltage cables only. Please look into adding an outlet behind your TV. It is very easy.

It’s not against code to run power cables in the wall. That is classed as low voltage, cat 5 and similar cables are classed as ultra low voltage. Not sure of regs for you but uk that is the case, and we’ve got the highest standards when it comes to electrics so we must be doing something right

Everything looks pretty cool. I love the way you've taken advantage of every inch of space. It all looks very useful and very stylish. The color palette you've chosen makes it look quite bright and welcoming. I've been having some general ideas to improve my living room, since I spend it there frequently. Just a heads up, running a power cable behind drywall is a violation of electrical code. You need to either install a outlet behind TV or use one of those in wall tv power kits.

Thanks! I thought so too. It's the kind of wall mount we used and unfortunately it doesn't go any further back. I'll probably end up getting another one since I've found that I never use the tilt function of the one I've got there.

Lovely! I love the slat wall! What type of walls do you have? In my home, the inner walls are made out of stone, thus I dont know if a nailgun would do. Obviously I dont want to drill holes for each of the slats. Cheers!
