He makes the best decision to achieve a lead over the enemy mid, however this isn't the way to win. In this game it works out because his team is able to pretty much begin winning the game while he shoves a wave, but in games where his team is in a more detrimental spot and need the mid laners help, it won't cut it for him to split like he is.

in case you care about improving: 1) go into a custom game just by yourself and practice last hitting minions. 2) in game sweat less about the one missed minion and instead focus on the waves in general (you might want to check out some yt guides on wave management for this). 3) Don’t worry. In your average low mmr game there will be way more skirmishes, therefore it will be waaay more difficult if not impossible to achieve perfect cs. Having 200 cs at 30 minutes isn’t that bad if you are 11/5/9.

And between a bottom Master player and any 1000+ LP challenger player is 1000+ LP, so Yes the difference between master and challenger is a lot bigger than a master and a plat 4 player, and Trust me not all plat players are going 0/20 against a master player in fact only a handful who I would say boosted or in a bad day can go 0/20. What I want to say is a master player while ofc better than any plat player has a bigger change of losing against him than to lose vs a challenger player

the first wave arrives at 1min 30 into the game a wave arrives every 30s a canon arrives every 1.5 min if u do the maths u realize that if u don't miss any cs u can get around 107cs at 10min meaning that if u want 10 cs per min u can't miss more than 7 cs

@@dominiklieser7341 yeah, for the first 10 mins it would be correct. After 15 minutes a cannon minion arrives every second wave and after 25 minutes every wave has a cannon minion, so you would have to adjust the mathematics a bit for the gold per wave.

I feel like Chovy's gameplay in this VOD really symbolizes the Korean style of slow, controlled gameplay that's focused on farm and only fighting in really specific situations. It can be effective at these high elos I guess but extremely annoying in solo q when one player constantly just solo farms all game and leaves his team undermanned in team fights.

Exactly my POV. It is a bit of a gamble. You could roam and help team, get kills and possibly an objective, or you can safely make that skrilla in lane. I choose to help more often than not because I don't want to tilt my team.

I guess CSing has a two side effect. Removing allied minions from the game gives the enemy minions a higher value, so the siege minion you denied + the siege minion you farmed = 2 siege minions for you.

As Sun Tzu once said "Hence a wise general makes a point of foraging on the enemy. One cartload of the enemy's provisions is equivalent to twenty of one's own, and likewise a single picul of his provender is equivalent to twenty from one's own store." This is true because you are taking resources away from them, so its of negative capacity. Where in league it is not. Another way to think about it is if you and a friend both have an apple and you take your friend's apple, you now have 2 apples to satiate your hunger instead of the 1 you previously had.

While I don't listen to classical music, playing hyperscalers feels very calming in a match where you can farm up and deal insane damage. This game was perfect because no one really harassed him in the side lanes other than that 3 man collapse so you just get to cs while your team tries to hold things together for you to come in at the end to obliterate the enemy team, I'll have to try the classical music.

If chovy flashed closer than sylus might have had a chance to survive because of the healing

About the coin flip roams - the lower elo you are at, the more you are kinda forced to do that at least from time to time, because your teammates are gonna be furious enemy roamed and you didn’t and they often know nothing about the wave management (especially true for more obscure regions like Russia, for instance)

If you guys are curious, hes standing still periodically in the lane its not random. It's called trading stance and essentially you put yourself over your own dying minion so if they try to go for it you can dodge stuff like sylas E but also harrass them and run them down if they go for that farm

I appreciate the call out that this playstyle works in high elo, but prob doesn't work below diamond. This is an understatement, playing this way below diamond is actual inting / wintrading. Your team will ff vote the very first time you ignore key objectives in favor of farm, and your enemy laner will be 10/0/0 if you ignore his roams in favor of towers. The enemy team will send 5 top to kill you during a split and your teammates will be afk farming jg or freezing mid waves while they do it.

As viktor when your pushing, how do you guys push a wave for the fastest push with E augment? at 17:06 for example, He AA the first melee, Qs the second one then Empowered AA the cannon and gets E off to 4 minions. Im just curious as to how in depth should the thought process go. I for example might Q AA the first melee and try to hit all 7 minions with E, then deal with the 2 melees in front last.

14:00 I think in previous seasons, LS did not like players picking morello up as a 2nd item because most champions didn't have that much healing or lifesteal that early in the game. Also the magic pen was not needed that early as most champions do not prioritize magic resist. In my opinion he wasn't an advocate of not buying morellos, just not at that point in the game were the added value is practically zero compared to other items. However season 11 has items with a lot more healing and lifesteal available making grievous wounds a must much earlier than normal...also there is a seraphine...nuff said.

Nobody is going to care about this but I think Morello aka Anti-Heal is so much more effective than people realize. He is vs Sylas, Tristana who eventually gets lifesteal, Urgot who I think goes for atleast some healing, Udyr Turtle stance and then the w/e cringe champ (forgot her name) that has AoE healing. One item effectively fucks over their team by a lot and that's something the korean players realize while the rest don't. To compare to another moba, SMITE, Anti-Heal is pretty much a staple 4th item because so many gods aka champions, have either innate healing or pick atleast 1 item that allows for sustain. Buying 1 Anti-Heal item cuts down so much of it it's unreal.

Except anti heal in a league is quite underwhelming, also thats why people just buy oblivion orb and sit on it while buying other more important items and not completing morellos till later, since orb is very cost efficient for antiheal, it’s not the you shouldn’t buy anti heal, you just dont have to finish morellos and delay you’re other more useful item spikes, that’s the general consensus.

But I agree that finishing the item that fast isn't ideal and that it would shine a lot more when finished later since that's when carries get their lifesteal online as well. Like I said, it's usually 4th item or 5th in SMITE for the same reason. I do think in this particular game it's not wrong to finish Morello since it shuts down Sylas hard as well as Seraphine early on, they don't have any breathing room left.
