The funniest part of the video, if you look at the minimap, when Petu zooms in as he enters their base for the backdoor, you can see the turrets respawn a fraction of a moment before Petu's screen sees them. They literally appeared out of nowhere for him so the confusion was understandable lmao

They actually respawned way before the zoom in. You can tell by the the border of the nexus tower icon on the minimap were red and not greyed out like when they were originally destroyed. Since they didn't have vision on it, the icon didn't show it as full hp and never updated to full until he came into vision range - which is the actual confusing part for anyone first facing it and planning a backdoor.

If you play with smartcast on you can see the radius is in a 45 degree cone, if you hit it in front if you it has a smaller range, but if you "angle" it so that the outer cone is facing the enemy you can cast it a little further than what other players think is the normal range.

Some Bruiser Jhin tech btw, You can make use of hail of blades on 3 shots after the first one in a magazine with titanic, due to titanic being an auto reset. Hail of blades is hard coded to not provide ad on Jhin's first shot, but this gets around the general awkwardness of not getting bonus ad on the final shot. Sundered Sky has a bug with titanic (might apply for mulitple champs but definitely applies for jhin) where if u activate titanic before your previous auto reaches the target and procs the sundered sky crit, the next auto will also crit. With this, 3 of Jhin's autos in a magazine can crit with 0% crit chance. This in turn makes Infinity Edge an extremely cost effective purchase, as after these 2 items, roughly 75% of your autos can crit (despite only having 25% crit chance) After titanic first item, you can just contextually buy MR or Armor based on what dive the opponent has. Then go sundered sky, IE, Serylda's (nice on q, but ldr and mortal reminder are fine contextually). Early game I start long sword refillable, rush soul boots (get cull if possible) and build into titanic. I tested this mid with Synchronised souls and ghost flash (although swifties might work fine), and u can genuinely oneshot waves, can't be oneshot, have insane map tempo due the boots, frankly do similar damage to regular jhin and provide massive utility due to the range, cc and vision control inherently in Jhin's kit. Early game you can just use e as additional wards and just use q on the wave repeatedly to push it, saving w only for situations where it aids in getting kills or preventing a kill or for getting cs you would otherwise miss (due to mana cost). If you can space properly you can just land 4th shot autos whenever on the opponent and chunk them down. I don't necessarily think HoB is optimal but the page I run is HoB, Taste of Blood, Deep Ward, Relentless hunter (or whatever one gives out of combat movement) with Demolish and Overgrowth as the minor tree and AS, Scaling hp x2 as shards. I don't play so often anymore so it isn't within my interest to abuse this, but I genuinely think Bruiser Jhin Mid is insanely OP in the current meta.

sheesh a fellow jhin bruiser enjoyer. ive been attempting this build for actual ages and I never even thought of thundered sky and it might be a good addition fr. I think HoB is actually one of his most optimal choices. it giga juices his damage early and that is honestly when your keystone is most important. I havent played this season though so im not sure what boots might be good but I used to go AS boots for even more dmg. especially if you going full tank with no real lethality or marksman items. I am gutted that they removed ghost poro though :( that rune was so good as well. just tank first ward in middle of lane, get nice easy extra AD then get giga AD from just placing optimal wards, loved that rune, sad its gone.

While a cool mechanic it’s also lame that it robs a good macro player from getting what could be their only chance to turn a loss into a win. It’s not like it was so frequent that this needed to be added in. Yes I’m speaking as someone butthurt from this scenario happening to me as a Yorick player. When my team is hopeless it’s the window I had and now they just turned it into a tiny high up bathroom window with metal bars. 😂😢😂😢 They could’ve just made it where you need two inhibs down to be able to hit nexus.

Going bruiser is how Jhin deals with tanks, since he synergizes somewhat poorly with armor pen items. Being able to just eat a tank's offense and not die lets Jhin do things other ADC picks would be bad at. Bruiser Jhin as support is fun, btw. His traps are fantastic extra vision, you have the root to guard your ADC, and you can forgo early ranks in Q since you don't need to farm. Standing next to the outer wall in an edge lane, then ulting at the correct angle so that your ult's edge is along that wall, gives enemies nowhere to run laterally to get out of it.

well i saw a video 4 years ago of a jhin master top. He used to play max E first. stacking traps on key spots to OS ennemies. good strat for sidelaning too. imma try it with this build. ty good video as always !

Ive been doing this build for actual ages, or something along these lines rather. Jhins AD scaling is insanity and it actually allows him to break away from only crit or only lethality builds. his 4th is guaranteed crit every time and you can have 900AD while being full bruiser and still deal giga damage. I think manamune is an extremely good item on him and pumps his auto damage even more which synergises well with deadmans too. there are so many variations and items you can fit into it as well. I mainly buy starting item then tear then go into deaths dance or deadmans first depending then build titanic second, finish tear item because it usually fully stacks around that time and then 4th item is that shield item that gives you ad based on your hp (i forgot what its called now something claw or something along those lines) and then just whatever might be fitting last. sometimes its an IE sometimes its a lethality item, its super flexible and I usually go with AS boots because they just give jhin even more AD but swifties are also great. Jhin is also giga flexible with runes, I love grasp when I know matchup will be rough, aery is not as good as comet and the normal runes work too. his mana is his biggest issue though by far. obviously im not saying do this type of build every time but when it works, it works really damn well. nothing better than running around with 4khp and having giga armour while the enemy zed tries to one shot you but you live because the guy got mentally stunlocked by the sheer aura of the build. *side note. if you ever play normal jhin builds do not build collector on Jhin, that item is pure ass and he already has built in execute on 2 of his abilities. his sheer AD is more than enough and that puny 5% execute provides little to no value on him at all. its a giga waste of money.
