Yeah dude, Zed got half a level on Faker early on cuz Trundle kept forcing him out of the area without even really intending to kill. Faker was building to stay on par with Zed later on through his early game dominance - he lost that earlier than expected and that caused him to lag behind Zed the rest of the game.

It's not faker's fault once Zed has his ulti it's very hard to win 1 v 1 as Lucian or for any mage such as Syndra or Ori. Only the likes of LeBlanc or Akali or Qiyana other assassins stand a chance. Faker did well to ignore Zed and got the kills to stay relevant.

I don't know I love ekko jungle, he's a bit weak early which makes it not braindead as there is counterplay if the enemy team wants to keep you down. And at the same time Ekko is all about those ganks, those roams, the big W reads and dives. Jungle just seems like such a good fit to me. Lane is also greaty but there comes a point where it's literally just Q the wave, look for a roam.

It's more an issue of Lucian being completely oppressive in the mid lane while being garbage bot lane at the moment. Vayne isn't a meta dominating pick in top just another ranged cheese pick. With Lucian there is currently no way to buff his bot lane game up to acceptable levels with numbers alone without doing something to ensure that extra power doesn't just make him even better mid.

The ekko passive buff while seems like Riot it trying to make him a jg. Also buffs lane and make him even more snowbally since you can steal enemy camps faster. It happens a lot where you end up having to auto each little raptor once just because q and auto/3 hit passive proc dont do enough dmg to kill it. If youre able to save even 5 seconds that allows you more time in lane or roaming so you can get more done

yeah maybe you're right, I admit I'm no expert. I imagine rekkles to be on par or better than perkz as an adc in general, but might be underestimating perkz' shotcalling

​@@randy_montana its not about the skill of one player vs the replaced player. its about how the entire teams identity and style changes. rekkles is a great adc but he is quiet and defensive, doesnt play for outplays, plays to minimize mistakes. G2s identity has always been a high risk high variance playstyle where they always go for the outplay and dont care about minimizing mistakes. this difference in personal style of play is why you see rekkles with 4 kills and 0 deaths while the rest of his team is aced and losing nexus. In my opinion rekkles is the problem. not because he is a bad player, but because he is the odd one out when it comes to g2 natural style.

The reason I brought up the meta in the first place was because I was thinking of back when G2 was making crazy outplays with champs like Sylas mid and Yasuo bot, and there was a bit less dominance by jungle/top. I thought of Caps and Perkz as coleaders who were responsible for the majority of the teams outplays. Now, I think both of them play more passively in comparison and I was just considering that the modern balance of champs might be responsible for that. I'm not very good at league, so not gonna speak comfortably about the meta or champ balance - I understand your side of it and I agree to a large extent. Rekkles is definitely the odd man out - my argument is just that he makes up for that to some extent by being a strong reliable laner. I'm not trying to say that he balances out Perkz absence though.

that diana trolled it way too hard in the early fight she climbed back later, but that was from ganking every lane except mid Lucian can't pressure Zed if he gets kills like that, even pre-6. if something that disastrous happened at mid, then lucian needs jungle care, but he got more ganks instead, lol. Pike was the only one who roamed mid and alleviated some of the pressure. so, i don't think zed99 did spectacularly well. it would've been really dumb if he hadn't been that fed, considering how good of a start he got.

I really don’t think, “not making mistakes,” is going to help you win these games and climb out of that elo… If you have the 0/10, you need to make outplays in order to win. If they have the 0/10, it doesn’t really matter, but it’s going to make the win more of a sure thing.
