Middle Aged Skateboarding Dad's Trick Challenge | BS 5050 Escalator Grind

Got inspired by ‪@JonBishopSkate‬ & my friend Thadd aka "Skate Yoda" to try for a Backside 5050 Escalator Grind at Sunnyvale Skatepark. This one was a little tricky. Ideally, I would like tot do it from the flat section, but there is about 8-10 inches of vert and the coping is actually narrower than the length of the board. To make matters worse, you have to come down off the escalator, then shift body weigh to make the curve at the bottom. Was able to hit 3 this week after a couple hundred tries.
Once again, this is proof that you can start skateboarding at Middle Age in your 40s and progress incrementally and safely.
