Typical Last Alliance 🙃 Cursing dice. I need to try that. Do I curse mine or theirs?
Tense game! Jeremy kept slugging till the end despite some early setbacks. I think whilst playing back on the defensive gave Jacob a mid game advantage in the long run it was severely detrimental as it all hinges on the captains breakout. Great game and tactics from both sides though. I look forward to season 2!!

Great battle report as ever. My only feedback would be more consistency with the talking heads segments. Maybe structure it so pre priority you have the players discuss the turn and what they need to do next. Currently it's a bit jarring having it jump to someone for two seconds for them to not really say much of note.

Loved this season, was cheering laat alliance playing with it myself , happy they got far , i got gil galad elendil combo at 650, few models but 2 big threats , not alot of might, but blood and glory and free heroic combats, high fight values making opponent use might should negate that , goos game

I know the ‘pushed back’ rules isn’t always enforced In Friendly games but in a competitive setting like this you should enforce it. The oathkeeper was likely trapped in that combat. Despite him being killed, it could have become important. He never retreated a full inch!
@ConquestCreations2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. it probably wasn't as easy to see on camera. We always play with 1" back aways we just usually do it after damage is resolved to save time. In this case it may not have been apparent but the oathkeeper could back up onto the stairs behind him.
@jeremyshannon74822 жыл бұрын
Agree with Jacob that we try to enforce it in friendly games. It is possible we made a mistake- easy to do when trying to film, play and provide narration!

Considering some matchups can be one-sided, maybe for future tournaments doing double elimination so players have a chance to come back if they have an unlucky game.

In the turn when GIl-Galad called the heroic combat and charged an huscarl and the Oathmaker Dunland had priority. Why didn't Jeremy decided to split Gil-Galad combat only into the huscarl so that he could avoid having the Oathmaker fighting Gil-Galad?
@jeremyshannon74822 жыл бұрын
Most likely and oversight on my behalf. I was a bit put off by Gil-Galad moving through the two Huscarls- thought they were less than a base apart.

At 23:25, would Gil-Galad need to charge a Dunlending to his left? It seems there were two control zones he bypassed without charging.
@ConquestCreations2 жыл бұрын
It's a tricky one but I've checked over the rules on it several times to double check. Because he is charging into the closest huscarl he is able to move through the control zones of the other models

HI: How could the numenorean charge Gorulf without entering the control zones of the dunlendings at 26:25 ?
@ConquestCreations2 жыл бұрын
Hi Thanks for the comment. The Numenorian left the first control zone to charge the model next to Gorulf then wrapped into Gorulf. If it was out of sequence it would have been as easy one to fix up by moving one model into the huscarl

at 35:08 we see the underside of jeremy's wildman base, was this a resin base or is it like a fridge magnet? Looks very cleanly done if it is a magnet
@jeremyshannon74822 жыл бұрын
I put rare earth magnets (so the model sticks to my transport trays) in my bases using a dot of superglue and cover with a bit of modelling putty. They are then filled in with quick dry wood filler (and sanded). It is a habit from the days when models would be put on their side when knocked over.
@ikkiiiieee2 жыл бұрын
@@jeremyshannon7482 I have NEVER seen anyone doing it that way, it sounds brilliant. So much so I think you should make a post about it! Because the magnet doesn't touch the surface directly (putty in between) I assume they're not that firmly attached? I assume the putty is so you don't sand it by accident? Doesn't the filler ever loosen or crumble? I've always filled with putty rather than a filler on the underside because of that fear.

Hi I'm a huge fan of the channel and I'm just looking for an army thats good at all points leaves hard to play but powerful and something you don't see on the table 2 often . Also if it don't break the bank What would you suggest Thanks Ps great battle
@leonk.37392 жыл бұрын
I guess the Black Riders legendary legion is great for what you want (especially if you buy 3rd party Nazguls). They are very competitive at different points levels but extremely hard to use because you only have up to 9 models (at lower points it can even be just 5). However, this is NOT a beginner army and you will probably lose a lot of games before you start to get some wins (and some players think that this list is unfun to play against). You could also go for a Rivendell knights list (so Elrond mtd and at least 10 knights. At higher points you will probably add an other hero like Gandalf, Aragorn or Legolas and more knights).
