Hope you play this when the Lord of the Hunt DLC comes out. You'll get to fight Warchiefs riding Graugs. And not just any Graugs. Acid projectile vomiting Graugs.

My life in Mordor is getting bloody worse, now there are Uruks who were completely unknown tracking me down and obliterating me with unblockable attacks: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6XNhnWhhJysbs0 Seriously, this game HAS to have been made to get harder over time, because so many Captains now have an attack chain of 3 that's unstoppable, and even a completely unblockable attack. I'm not complaining, but it's not getting any bloody kinder. Nevermind the immortal Uruks that seemingly never sodding die as Talion decides to do EVERYTHING BUT a decapitation. I love this game, but it hates me...

I know nobody is reading this but i will write it anyway My best follower was a dude called goroth skull collector, a dual wielding axe type of guy that i branded as a simple grunt, he randomly landed the killing blow on a graug and became a captain, i watched this happen btw, i never realized that i had branded him since he was a simple grunt and he was automatically on my side when he got promoted, i helped him become a warchief and gave him 6 bodyguards, he was almost invincible, beast slayer combat master arrow proof stealth proof etc plus poison weapons, his only weakness was he could be grabbed, from grunt to legendary warchief

Please never stop this, it is quite possibly the only enjoyable Shadow of Mordor series out there. Mainly because you don't constantly chant the false lore provided by the movies. Example: The Army of the Dead was never on Pelennor, that was the Dunedain. The Dead helped to kill an ENTIRE fleet (which is how everyone else made it to Pelennor by taking one of those vessels. The Dead were released as soon as the fleet was defeated. One of Peter Jackson's "modifications for the better" at work. I would like to know, how much lore do you know about Arda? (basically the entire world, including Numenor, Beleriand, Middle-earth, etc.)

Unfortunately, I'm a massive arse when it comes to the actual lore of the universe. I only know what I see in the Films, I never did dig deeper with the Books...now I feel that I should at some point. This game alone has hooked me back into the world.

Wulfy294 Not really, It's a bit disjointed and at some points sparse on actual detail (at least the edition I have is). Starting in on the lore of middle earth from a disjointed series of journal entries isn't a good way to get started on the lore. Spending time reading the appendices in the hobbit and the trilogy is a much better entry point, due to how it's laid out, and the fact that it covers familiar events, not stuff that happened signifigantly before lotr. Indeed, the only bits of the silmarillion that actually have impact remaining at the time of Lotr involve morgoth and the Mair (both corrupted and not), as most of the other greater entities have no real presence.

Just a tip for if you ever play the game after you've beaten it I find that uruks who have names like "the noble" or things like "guard, shield, sword, archer ect. master" are some of the best (and coolest looking)
