You know it's vintage footage with those black bands. I really wish you could post a new video daily. They have a weird calming effect on me.

Always love your footage. 15:54- was that a goliath? Always wondered what the job market is for a commercial gunner? Do you sell to fish suppliers, or restaurants direct?
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
He MUST sell EVERYTHING he gathers to his supplier . Gags 1st because they pay the best and they will not hang around long , and then whatever time he has left he can get other types of fish .

Do you use mixed gas when diving this deep beyond 90 feet?
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
Special mixes are required when he plans to go below 150 feet . That also requires a lot more training and certification to go deeper .

Do you have a limit?

Commercial guidelines are mostly set for the total weight of each species per trip or per season not per person or per day .

Why did they invent a rod and reel? Jus saying Dan.
@daveobsoleteammo4547 Жыл бұрын
Dan and his crew normally fish over 100 miles off-shore , and normal is deeper than 150 feet down . They normally make 3-5 day trips so you do not have to use extra fuel going back and forth to unload your catch . Under the Commercial License most species of fish are regulated by so much total weight for the trip or the season .
