Darling Matilda, she was such a good girl for Anna. Anna was lovely with her it was fun to watch. I don't know how blind Matilda is as she certainly made a quick u-turn when she saw those clippers. A brilliant buzzing vlog Jo. Nice to see life on the streets again. I was at the oxo tower on Thursday and a restaurant on Friday on the south bank . It was great eating on the terraces in such beautiful weather and how “Safe” they have become in the new normal. I was scared of using the underground but again quiet and so spaced out. Love Matilda when I had my dogs they had to have their claws manicured , I could never do it ! Thank you for making my Sunday 😘

I have to confess I felt a real end-of-summer pang as I watched you and Anna eating your fishcake supper on the roof! I know it's only early August but already I have a slight back-to-school tummy feeling. And the light is changing, too - but... your new/old flat is lovely, and while you'll no longer have that view, that view is still there (as is the roof) so I guess it's time to Meltonian those tennis pumps and put one's best foot forward.

I know what you mean about cutting Matilda’s nails back. My mother loves pugs and one of her pugs’ nails will curl and grow right into the pad if not periodically clipped. It was just two on the back feet so it wasn’t detected at first, now she takes her every few weeks for a quick trim. Matilda is such a sweet dog. Very expressive and friendly and you can tell right away that she adores you. She lights up when you talk to her or give her a pat. Are not dogs the very best creation on earth!!

Love the almost seamless cut from the office to your home Jo! For a second, I honestly thought that Anna was at the BBC! Getting Matilda's nails clipped is so important. I was horrified and felt utterly guilty that my elderly cat who loved the outdoors and so never had problems with her claws, had bleeding paws in her dotage because of those in grown claws. After that I regularly clipped her claws.

Your the best mom ever and Matilda is lucky to have you! In the clip it looked like George was running away from you and I was wondering what was he hiding from you. L.O.L. Here in the states people have been gathering in large groups at parks, the beach and in bars and so some states are seeing an increase in cases and I fear we will go into lockdown again. Why are people so foolish, I don't know. I had my 66th birthday yesterday and my childhood friend came to the house and surprised me. We haven't seen each other since Feb. and it was the best present. Anyway, have a good weekend and the shoes are fab!
