A journalist consoled him but he was urgently shouting his condolences - their grieving, is no time to grieve. The journalist tried to stop him crying and he said to the boy, “do me one favor please. You have younger siblings? Do one thing for me and get up from here and get everything your little siblings need”. Remember the sense of urgency in the journalists voice speaking to this boy. The journalist forced the boy up and you would think it was wrong but the world needed that boy to look out for his siblings Likewise I will not let you cry for too long. Our grieving is a striving - how much resources do we have compared to them? Let’s use them before they’re taken from us - who’s to say we might not be in a position like children on Gaza tomorrow, house half bombed, gotta evacuate?
