Lets not forget, el-Sisi lost in Libya since he was backing the CIA Puppet, American citizen General Haftar He lost in Ethiopia. He lost in Yemen with his UAE & Saudi friends. He is losing in Sudan. The electricity cuts for 2 to 4 hours per day is horrible. That is what Egypt deserves for making a war in Northern Sinai to bring the Z's in to build gas & oil pipeline from their cousins J's & Z's (USA 51st state) in Arish to feed Europe but their cousins cut the pipeline after October. Everything he accused Morsi of, he has done & done worse. Alhamdulillah. We deserve it because we turned our back & didn't fight

I’m pro Palestinians and anti Xionists, but it aches me that people think that Bassem Youssef who is defending Gaza on air is a hero of free speech and rights of people, when he was instrumental in the west and gulf orchestrated coup against Morsi and the elected government. I still remember him making fun of Rabaa protesters after they were literally massacred. It was heart breaking to see how the most impressive revolution end in shambles like that. They won’t allow for a strong independent Egypt cause that could mean the end of illegitimate Israhell.

I'm American I have lived in Egypt for 10 years I've seen the slow decay of the society. Religion being sucked out by the government towards Christian's & Muslims but especially Muslims. There are places where Niqabi and hijabi women can't eat or even swim. He wasted so much money on the light rail and Monorail. It would have been a lot better just to make the subway better. He has built cities but most are ghost towns, the new capital & Al Almein. Parts of New Cairo is busy but some parts is a ghost town and has 1000's of empty apartments. He has built bridges after bridges. Some work great. Some work a little & some doesn't make sense. He does build roads and massive freeways.

- A LARGE part of the problems in Egypt is rooted in the high birth rate over there. Egypt has one of the highest birth rates in thew world. High birth rates ==> fast growing population ==> growing amount of subsidies for e.g. food and energy ==> more government spending. That rising government spending forced Sisi to cut subsidies and increase taxation (as mentioned in the video). And then people are then surprised to see that the egyptian population is getting more and more "angry" ??? - Egypt is known (like in Syria under the Al Assad governments and in other arab countries) to torture people who are in prison. This torturing of prisoners turns "moderate muslims" into "radicalized muslims". That's another reason why leaders like Bashar Al Assad and Al Sisi are so "unpopular" in the Middle East. They don't / didn't treat their citizens decently. - The egyptian government can "defuse" this demographic timebomb but that requires government policies to REDUCE this high birth rate to at or below 2 children per married couple. Iran did a similar thing (reducing birth rates) in the early 1990s and now the Iranian population barely grows anymore.

It's important to be critical but what's the alternative? Egypt had elections in 2012 and got the Muslim Brotherhood. I'm a traveller who is in Egypt every year, and I like President al-Sisi because he has made me feel safer. There has also been huge investment in infrastructure in South Sinai. Moving around in Sinai now feels easier and more secure. I believe President al-Sisi also controls what the Imams preach in the mosques. Does that help? Or is it is just interference?

@@TheResistance-ye8bh: I absolutely agree that Egyptians come first. But I also know many Egyptians who regretted voting for the Freedom and Justice Party after they came to power. I was advised by Egyptian friends not to visit, especially not to go anywhere after dark, because Cairo had become quite lawless under President Morsi. They felt he was not competent to lead the country.
