These bastards first destroy peoples lives and later on they accept Islam and all their sins are forgiven, now it doesn't matter whether the victim forgives them or not because God has already forgiven them... These bastards get no punishment from God for all what they did because they accepted Islam where as victim is just being offered bribes by Allah that if he forgives him, he will enter Jannah... Isn't it enough for the victim after having his whole life destroyed to enter Jannah without forgiving him ? In other words the victim gets a mid finger salute and nothing else , whereas this bastard is now roaming freely in this world and in the hereafter ...

There are amazing American people with beautiful heart, wisdom and also with great sense of humour. Good to see Moazaam is a free man after all ordeal, meeting his friend and building a great future of human friendship and care. Many innocent suffered in Guantanamo prison and many innocent in other places still suffer. May God keep everyone in the whole world in peace and safe from all kinds evil, bad politics, criminals and hunger. Aamen.

Everyone deserves a second chance even though Albert and Moazzam were already emotionally and humanly connected, he was just a soldier who was deceived by his commanders but went his way and decided to change his circumstances, it is wonderful what humans can achieve. I am just one more happy guy on his keyboard.

I think for him to go against the entire US war machinery geared to demonise the people he was guarding is amazingly brave. The easiest thing would have been for him to just follow the majority and treat the prisoners as sub human. It also shows he has intellect which allowed him to come to his own conclusions about the prisoners he was guarding rather than be a sheep following orders.

Some of these comments are not nice.....did you even listen to the conversation.....when you are a soldier you do what you are told or you get court marshall and go to jail.....he never looked the guy in the eyes bc he is ashamed of what he was told to do and he didn't want to leave the guy behind and felt like he let him down by leaving ....you can't treat this shit like a regular job

actually I don't agree yes I get it that he was doing his job I just don't agree with the fact that he continuously broke the law on behalf of a government that is guilty of war crimes. this is not what any soldier signs up for and yes okay so he was a good bad soldier that doesn't make him a hero...he should be charged along with the government for conspiracy (any one of us would be at the very least guilty by association). it shouldn't be one rule them and another rule for them.
