It is not. I only have two lights in the room and both are LEDs.

What if your windows open sideways ? I bet media doesn’t want you standing it on its side .

Yes that would not be a good idea with this. You also would not be able to take advantage of the U shape if it was on its side.

Every unit should show TWO temps, the setting and the actual temperature. And 100% of the time, not something I have to walk over to press a button to see. If room feels warm I want to instantly evaluate if the actual is not chasing the setting sufficiently, or it's just in my mind, etc. I presently have a Frigidaire that cannot show current temp at all. Regrettable I didn't checklist that.

Agree I wish they did show actauly temp. The app does come close for this but I like the remote and app for quick changes to the temp if I need to while working at my desk. I also have a stand alone environment monitor in the room.

@@Wanderer001_Reviews Amazing that that's not provided at all, requiring someone to buy their own thermometer device. I should be able to look and tell instantly that after running for 40 minutes set at 72, that the temp only dropped from 83 to 82. As it stands with no readout, you limply have to move it down from 72 to 70 thinking that maybe that will help since the room feels hot. I too can press a remote that lights up the 72 and I can watch it go down to 70 from across the room, but of course the point is that you're goaded into doing something stupid like that because they can't spend a dollar twenty five to add that digital feature to a multi hundred dollar product :(
