Tbh, I like this theme because the main melody is basically a soft and comforting lullaby, and the backing instruments and harmony are the ones that brings that main melody to a grand level. Like with Horou getting support from her fellow Chirper users

Erik Karver Assuming that you’ve hadn’t used the English patch, spoilers are ahead. Horou, an Ibis, came from Sado to Tokyo in the outside world. From there, she somehow came to Gensokyo. Somewhere along the way, she met all the stage 1-4 bosses and they were going around as a group until they found the pile of parts that was General Set. Set promised Horou that she would be able to help her get back to the outside world to find other Ibises (which had pretty much gone extinct by then) and gave Horou the Book of Thoth such that Horou could freeze time across Gensokyo, thereby disabling the Hakurei Barrier. Set kinda wanted that power for herself or something, so she never intended to tell Horou to know how to unfreeze time (and the problems that time freezing would cause). Unfortunately for Set, Sakuya existed and was able to not get frozen. Sakuya unfroze Reimu and Marisa, and the three went out to find the culprit.

The OwO on Horou's hat is meant to be Θώθ, the Greek name for the Egyptian god Thoth, which this game takes some heavy inspiration from. The fact that it looks like Ow0 is a hilarious coincidence

I have an important question: If you see HertzDevil's discography, you will see that he/she (not sure about Hertz's gender) incorporated a perfectly-9801-ified TH07 title screen as album artwork. But nowhere can I find who made such a clever mockup. Was it Hertz him/herself? Or did someone else do it as a commission for Hertz? I tried to personally ask him/her about this via various channels of communication (commenting on one of his/her KZbin videos, sending an email to the address in his/her Bandcamp page, and most recently a private message via Twitter), but so far I have gotten no response from him/her after a few days. I don't know if you had direct communication with him/her before, but do you think you know who made that TH07 title-screen mockup? Because I would like to commission a similar title-screen mockup for one of my TH06 covers in PMD98.

I recommend play touhou 6 first, but if you want deeper story of it, play touhou 1. The latest touhou is 16.5, there will be more soon.
