What you are creating are, at best, "mood boards". These are NOT storyboards. It's like something that a director might use it a treatment or a pitch, but would be useless as shooting boards.

How do you reliably create a shot sequence in the same location with the same characters, varying between shot sizes and angles. I’m not sure it’s possible.

From other things I’ve read you might have to input your own drawings and “train” it to give you your look.

Nice Video !!! Could you please make a video on Sketch storyboard of ertain Scene / some shots. I am a Storyboard artist looking and worried and qurious about hot to generate that sketch form storyboard. so that we all will adopt this style along with our Digital Photoshop software. if Client will / can give budget for this!!☺

Interesting but this would be useless in film production. Each frame has a different set of kids, nothing with cam movement or anything we actually do in Storyboarding actual films

Yo Bill! Yeah I was wondering if I’d see something useable here. It is interesting, but I mostly agree. This still looks more like a very early concept phase, maybe for people with a micro budget trying to sell an idea. This would be completely impractical for a day to day storyboard job and building sequences to be pitched to a director and producers. You could add frame boxes and arrows in PS, but then it just gets into a weird area. Interesting to watch how long it dies take to get something useable. If my job becomes “prompt imputing” I’ll just quit the business or do something different. It would just be too mind numbingly boring for most visual artists.

wow this was the best video so far that I found to answer my question. Can I actually use midjourney to create storyboards for my scripts. thank you for answering my question. After I subscribed to mid journey I was having a hard time creating one rendered scene for my story board and I did I think 15 of them and nothing was coming out right but thanks to this video I finally got my answer, and it is very obvious that you CANNOT create storyboards with this software midjourney

Sure, you got what may be used as concept/mood art, but a huge part of storyboarding is about managing the flow of character actions and their environments. This is a solid case of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Call it “blockbuster” when you use it to make a film that turns a profit, you poser and hack.
