I wonder why firefly lags behind, considering it is in a creative business. I have firefly, and it is accurately delivers at time and other times, not so much.

on realism midjourney wins everytime but i wonder A) who got bigger resolution B) which one is easier to finetune, change details in a picture, like add a car or change a facial expression

Firefly images are 2048x2048. Midjourney's standard resolution is 1024x1024, but can be upscaled up to 2048x2048 and even more. Midjourney has an indrawing feature that makes fine-tuning easier than Firefly.

Why compare?? Midjourney doesnt offer edition capabilities like Firefly. If you intent to bring Midjourney images into Photoshop to edit them you will anyway need to pay an Adobe subscription.
