I heard a guy singing this tune at work the other day and had to ask him what it was, so I’m late to the party on these guys, but his response tickled me, (insert country dialect)> “mayyin, they writ’ sum dayum good songs, but ain’t a one uhvum frum Texas, and they used ta be underware models an music producers an stuff, so i doano wut ta make ovum.” Lol. Glad to see Country music make a change a bit. The same old patterned, programmed stuff was getting old. My Grandpa heard, My heart skips a beat by Buck Owen and said, that crap will never last, it ain't country. He was pissed because it wasn't Tex Ritter or Ernest Tub. He had not bought a record in fifteen years. The market runs on money. I'm 66 years old and still play out every week, and I started when I was 18. I have seen a lot of styles come and go. Achy Breaky Heart is one example. Musicians everywhere hated that song, but! everybody played it. And danced too it and bought it. In the music business money talks and BS walks. So if you like Midland, Buy their recordings. If you want to see the likes of Florida Georgia line on top and Luke Bryan and I hate to say Dierks Bentley cause he started out way different than he is now Keep buying the canned, programmed stuff that's out there.
