Brian Taylor I feel like I'm listening to George, Dwight and Keith Whitley all rolled into one and those harmonies!!! And I haven't stopped laughing listening to some of their interviews. One of my favorites. They said Dwight Yoakam was big influence, but I also hear a lot of the Mavericks and Texas Tornados in it as well. They took bakersfield, tejano, nortena and mariachi and rolled into one beautiful song.

Dwight has a very original inflection to his singing that I dont think anyone in country has mastered yet. I love midland and I hope that they get more bands to get back to a real country sound!
