I believe the work on Second Sight Films The Hitcher 4K has been done. The delay seems to be them waiting for permission to release it. From the little bit I’ve seen them show off I think the 4K will look phenomenal. 🤞🏻

I too picked up The Hitcher box from Umbrella and it’s great sure I will get the second sight 4K when it comes out too but couldn’t pass up this awesome set. Fyi after I got the hitcher box I went and found the Arrow Book that they put out as a separate book release in 2018 for this movie it’s a nice companion book that arrow did as just a book. Glad they included a poster had to hang that up too. The Blu-ray I thought looked good but I am sure the 4K will be amazing. Great cast too. 🎉

I always thought of The Hitcher as a Hitchcock movie on steroids. I have the German blu-ray and it's a pretty bad looking transfer. Can't wait for the Second Sight release. I have a feeling Scream Factory is going to release on 4k in the US. The German release from what I've heard was from a 35mm print. The upcoming Second Sight release is from a 4k scan of the recently found negative. So it should blow away those blu-rays. Me and my buddy saw the Hitcher when it came out in the theater. It was a great time. Love the movie. Can't wait to see it again.

Flesh and Blood is a pretty good movie, IMO. It has not only Rutger Hauer, but also co-stars Jennifer Jason Leigh. I won't spoil the movie for you. I just got the movie today, but have seen it before.

You should contact Umbrella about replacing the Lee Chang-Dong set's slipbox, due to the Korean spelling error of "Oasis" on the front cover.

Flesh + Blood is a real Verhoeven if you know what I mean. A movie that has to be seen to be believed.

I think it's something to do with licensing laws why they put Region B on the case as Australia is a Region B territory

hmm that is interesting, in the book it looks like there is a Danish cover "På Stop Med en Dræber" now I am born and raised in Denmark and lived there when it came out, and I remember it was called The Hitcher on the VHS. So I wonder what is with that.

Hitcher might be the horror movie I watched most times in my life, with the majority being from the age of 16-25, It is definetely the VHS I have rented the most. I have never seen the remake because to me that would be a cardinal sin for me.

Second Sight is 100% going to bomb this release. Especially that they are last guy out of gate they know what they are going against. It'll probably be just as big as The Guest release. Umbrella is always super mint as well but in this VS realm Second Sight is gonna come out hard especially after all these delays.

If that's Blue Beard the serial killer he was a man that killed wives. I'm not sure but there's a version that's British I think. Flesh And Blood is a movie set in the Middle Ages and it's very good. I think the other title is The Rose And The Sword. Good unboxing and cool video Ken!👉🙂👈

Flesh + Blood is a disturbing, uncomfortable watch at times. If you watch it and feel the same way, I highly recommend the supplements on the Umbrella release. It explains Verhoeven’s intent, which made me at the very least appreciate the statement he was trying to make at the time.

Ironically as u mention the Terminator as both the hitcher and the Terminator released at the same time on VHS rental back in 80s.. The hitcher remake I thought was an insult to the original,lazy nearly word for word script, acted by poor actors, had no suspense like the original and they put Sean Bean in a roll he had no chance of filling Rutger Hauers shoes! Personally had me scratching my head as to why? Pointless just like the point break reboot and roadhouse reboot, they will never outshine the originals!
