I'm an England based collector and I look to videos like this to point me in the right direction towards of new releases I may not have known about, especially the overseas stuff. Always eagerly anticipated and very informative. Thank you for all your hard work.

Who would think these are "showing off videos"? I've always considered them valuable and informative videos for new releases I might not know about. Thanks Heath.

Love the opening of this video; reminds me, somewhat, of the openings to all of my Something Weird Videos DVDs. The most interesting thing that I have learned, over the years, about Robert Stack, was that he reportedly had a really great sense of humor, which seems like a silly thing to note, but it is not something one would intuit from his television work. There is a story that it was Mr Stack who understood the nature of the humor while filming AIRPLANE. (The frequently told story is that Lloyd Bridges didn't understand what audiences were laughing at, to which Mr Stack responded, "Us, Lloyd; they're laughing at us.") Cheezy Movies is the one label that put out a Roger Corman movie I desperately wanted, ATLAS. Frankly, it looks like hell, but at least it's on a disc; I will take what I can get. I had to laugh when you spoke of Dimming All The Lights, because my mind immediately went to "'cause tonight it's all the way." (Donna Summer fans will get it.) Cereal At Midnight After Dark is taking me back to my college days, watching Skinemax in the basement. In regard to your question about the lobby cards for the Tinto Brass movies, I wasn't in Italy when these movies were in the theaters, but I did spend a summer in Spain in my college years, and I can attest that one could pass by a newsstand and the magazine covers were decidedly racier than one would see in the States, so I have no doubt that the lobby cards in question were probably displayed prominently in the lobby. There is a reason that people talking about America's puritanical attitudes speak of Europe's "European sensibilities".

Every time I think I'm going to make some Headway on my movie collection I discover a new genre or period through your videos and I'm off at another rabbit hole it's so daunting to think about how many movies there are out there but at the same time we're never going to run out of really great things to watch

Beauty of Beauties (1965) is a Chinese/Tainwanese epic that is one of the most expensive and elaborate films in their film history. It released in two parts upon its theatrical release, but only Part 1 could be restored for this Blu-ray. The old master is availabile on KZbin and it's genuinely unwatchable. I recommend that Asian film fans take a risk on this film. Very few people have actually watched the film.

We won't be able to watch all the films out there, listen to all the music out there, play all the games we would like in life. Don't stress about it, or about the feeling of missing out, just keep watching and enjoy the moment of watching, listening, playing something.

As for the "Colonel March" set, keep in mind MPI averaged 10 episodes of "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" per disc on the DVD season sets. To me, they look pretty darn good on my 55" Sony. Black and white TV shows don't require as much "bandwidth" as color TV shows.

We used to call it Euro Trash, Euro Cult, or sexploitation back in the day - I dig some a lot & there’s plenty I just don’t care for. I have the old KL Rollin Blu rays, but I’m picking up the new 4Ks - most anticipated is THE IRON ROSE. Also have The Black Emanuelle box set out of nostalgia, and picked up the Nasty Habits nunsploitation set recently.

I'm getting that joysticks release. Interested to hear your commentary. Could tell you were drained about a minute before you said it. I wish the best for you. I feel like you may be in limbo as far as how to go forth with the channel. I try my best to support you. As far as the graphics that someone mentioned you could insert. while a great idea. I always looked at these as me just coming over and you are like "hey Charlie check this out I got these the other day." Like you wouldn't let me touch them. Much like Brodie from Mallrats. Because I refuse to put on gloves and use tweezers. I just like the personal aspect I get from this channel.

Thanks, Heath! I had already pre-ordered all the Asian movies you highlighted since I usually grab up those very quickly. There are two more Inspector Wears Skirts movies coming out in the next month or so. Also coming are Sonny Chiba's Beast Fighter films, a big set of Bruce Lee imitator movies from Severin and three Abashiri Prison movies starring Ken Takakura, which I think is the first time these films have been available in U.S. region code.

The Joysticks Atari box is really great and creative artwork. When it comes to Asian cinema I have probably been exposed to maybe or roughly .02%. That’s not on purpose. Heath as you know living in the US , like you said the majority foreign films released to barely don’t know about unless we are exposed to it here in the states. For instance I like Bruce Lee films & Jackie Chan films so if by seeing some of the films I will research what other films they’ve done and then that will connect the dots to other films that they aren’t in or picking a historical subject like Vietnam or or certain dynasties in Asian history.
