The 4k digital is pretty solid for it so I would love to have it on disc. The Bikeriders for me there was one scene where, idk if it was my theater, but it was so grainy and dark I kept thinking um idk if 4k would help this or not. I loved the movie though.

Kingdom of the planet of the apes raw cut i believe is the movie before visual effects & cgi was applied. It’s the film with the actors in their mo caps suits which is pretty wild & unique.

I have 847 regular dvds in my storage i stopped collecting 12 years ago ! But last week i jumped into the rabbit hole of 4k when i purchased the transformers 4k 6 movie box set ! Because it was on sale for 78 bucks . So now i want to start collecting all the movies not in my dvd collection 😂😂. I just ordered the professional and the transformers rise of the beast steelbook . I pre-ordered Beetlejuice 4k steelbook and mad max now from Walmart! So now what's next ? You are my new best friend now for releases I'm hoping planet of the apes drops a new steelbook set for the new movie and hope it goes up soon .

All of Us Strangers is a metaphysical drama about a gay man that goes to his childhood home to repair the relationship with his parents - they died when he was young. Paul Mescal is the love interest to Andrew Scott’s character. It is an incredibly powerful film. I saw it in my local theater, so I didn’t feel bad when I bought a boot of it. I’m very excited to support the the criterion release. It is an incredibly meaningful piece to me - especially during Pride month.

Furiosa was a good film. I really enjoyed it and had not wanted to see it. So happy I did. Bikeriders was very good as well. Plant of the Apes, all three I will pickup. Ladykillers, geez I bought that from Amazon UK and it cost me a bunch of money to get it…now Kino Lorber comes out with it..

Kenny sudden death is van damn version of die hard but it in a hockey atmosphere tons of actions and exited. For 4k version . Other 4k of his universal soldiers with dolph lundren and uk 4k only of bloodsports his first us film started it all .

Sudden Death is actually a very solid and underrated action thriller. I'd say better than Timecop. Very 90s but still very good and I'm glad it's coming out on 4k.

Cocaine Bear turned out to be an entertaining flick and not what I was expecting. I genuinely thought it was going to be about a bear on the Satan Salt just eating people, but it turned out to be more. Not to mention Ray being in it as well. It's worth at least one watch and the steelbook (lookn like a Peachy folder) is kind of cool. 🐻👍

Yep, i will be getting Kindomg PoA. I have all the movies so far, and saw all the modern movies in theaters, except Kingdom. Took me a while to appreciate these movies, but the sound design of the modern trilogy is really amazing. I havw probably 90% of Van Damme's movies on DVD, Bloodsport on 4k. But Sudden Death 4k isnt gonna make the cut 😥

Richard Pryor: Live on the Sunset Strip was a theatrically released 1982 film about a comedy concert. Although I recently ordered some CDs on eBay of his classic albums from the 1970s, I'm not excited about this 4K release. I felt Pryor had lost some of his edge by the 1980s.

The artwork for the Cocaine Bear steelbook is based on what was called a Pee-Chee folder back in the day. It was used to put your paperwork and notes in. Everyone at school had them back in the day. The steelbook is replicating the color and the same style of artwork. I'd post a link to one but YT would just delete my comment.

Too many upgrades and not nearly enough first blu ray. Almost nothing I'm interested in. Amsterdamned was good but i'd rather get the Blue Underground version at some point. So many not on blu like The Keep which someone said it's about music rights, and i say BS because they put it on VHS Laserdisc and dvd. Does that make sense?

Criterion's new announcements are a miss for me. I am waiting for the upcoming sale to pick up a few titles that came out recently like Peeping Tom. I loved Kingdom, but I'll wait for the new triilogy to be out in a box set before I buy it. Like The Menu and Asteroid City, I won't be touching Abigail until there is a 4K release.

Bikeriders is being released by Focus Features not Universal Pictures like Abigail. Both studios are owned by Universal Studios but they have full autonomy to make decisions on what their films get released on. You're issue is definitely with the people at Universal Pictures and their scummy practices. I will say after watching Bikeriders, it doesn't need a 4k at all. I loved it but it definitely doesn't need that. And on Chucky, yes season 2 completely turned me off of the show. It was the Glen and Glenda episode. Not because of them but because of Jennifer Tilly and how absurd it got. The synopsis of the show for season one got my intrigued then the teaser got me hyped then the show completely was whacky and I wasn't for it at all.

The Bluray and 4K art for Furiosa (excluding the Steelbook) is so incredibly lazy and disappointing. There’s a guy on Instagram who killed some slipcover mock-ups for the film. It’s like whoever designed these didn’t give a damn. Wish the DVD cover was the Bluray cover. And then, why doesn’t the 4K come with a Bluray?
