The best cover so far of this elegant song IMHO. In a few more years after a few broken hearts, late tequila nights, a few bumps and bruises to the soul and the singer will slay that song open with a new melodic patina. The band is also technically tight, reminds me of first year collegiate music majors. Need to get some spirit into that vibe, drink some whisky.

I can tell a young bass player: he's embelishing when he should be supportive (don't walk over the vocals. Know when not to play) and hanging back when it's time to step out. Listen to Oteil Burbridge play the song. He's a master.

To be fair, slide guitar is hard as hell... but I do think it would be better for lead guitar to have played a traditionally picked solo since the slide chops don’t match up with the level of the rest of the performance He’s getting there though and way better on the slide than me, not trying to hate cause it’s very hard. But you always gotta think about what services the music

Well its kind of easy the studio version solo but he just tried to add his own .Honestly most of players would agree that the amount of effort he put in the solo is very less.Just comparing to the performance altogether ,the voice is phenomenal ,so is bass and drums yet its just the solo thats terrible
