Midnight aus Cleveland, Ohio, machen keine Gefangenen: Ihr schneller Metalpunk macht Lust auf Pogo und exzessives Headbangen. Der Mann hinter Midnight ist Athenar, seines Zeichens Gitarrist, Bassist, Drummer, Sänger und Songwriter hinter der auf Bandfotos und in Videos vermummt erscheinenden Combo.
Der Sound von Midnight ist von Heavy Metal, Speed Metal, Thrash und frühem Black Metal beeinflusst - so als hätten Venom und Motörhead ein Date, bei dem Iron Maiden kurz vorbeischauen. Die Konzerte von Midnight gelten als geniale Abrisspartys, bei denen die Band alles gibt und die gesamte Bühne zum Aktionsfeld wird.
