Years ago I couldn't stand black/thrash metal, black/speed metal and anything even vaguely resembling black/thrash metal and black/speed metal, so when my friends noticed said circumstance, they force-fed me Midnight at the Party San festival 201x - not out of the kindness of their hearts and to change my stance on aforementioned music, but just to take pleasure in seeing me lose the will to live. Nowadays I fuckin' love this music and Midnight, and I still bow down to my friends for the lengths they were willing to go to - essentially limiting the musical variety at our camp for them, too - just to torture a man they loved wholeheartedly. And guess what: One of the bands I'm looking most forward to at this year's Party San festival is Hellripper - a black/speed metal outfit from Scotland. Oh, the irony. 😅🤘

Motorhead and Venom. Angel Dust by Venom played 16 different ways. Saw them in Boston. Good band however not very original.

Impossible be original after 50 years of rock n roll: everything done by guitar, drum, bass, vocal. They are very good

@@waynekeer I wouldn't say impossible but I do acknowledge that it is very difficult to come out with something that sounds creatively original. Midnight are a very good and solid metal band and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them perform.

Well, they sound close to Motörhead and Venom, but they still have something that makes Midnight, Midnight. Great band, saw them in Thessaloniki. I even got Athenar's sleeve 😄
