I bought the DVD and just to be safe I also purchased a digital copy so I’ll always have it this was my favorite childhood movie of the 80s and of all time

Worked at a Sci-Fi convention about 20 years ago. I went to the hotel restaurant early for breakfast and Stephen Furst recognized me and asked if he could join me. What a nice guy!

Omg I used to sing this song for years and I remembered it faintly the beginning sequence. I only remember singing the midnight madness part. I don’t remember the movie at all just the theme song. The song doesn’t sound like what I remember either but I always thought I made it up. Now I know it actually exists!

Michael J. Fox said in a mid-1990s Entertainment Weekly article he was cast because California laws prohibited anyone under 18 filming past certain times at night. He was 18 but Scott was supposed to be a middle-schooler. Ironically David Naughton was almost 30.
