As much as I absolutely love BM and it's my favorite. I have to say though, Symphonic metal has some amazing vocalists as well.

Still here I wake and I think of you I see you far away Answer my call Can you hear my voice I hear you For we are gone and forever lost Broken here I lie Beneath the shadow sink Where daylight dies I wake for you But still I stand and think of Days when grass was green And my heart was so young They've never been past Forever lost In better lands the sun may shine And green leaves on trees spring Their opening and blossoming But here the raven sing

Not much to say: a great band doing a great cover of a great song of another great band. It's redundant as fuck, but it's true.

Every time I hear to his song, in my head space Marines battle atop a collapsing spire of hell twisted steel against an all powerful sorcerer, thunder clamps with a million screams of the damned as a tempest of black clouds choke the the sky of light green lightning strikes unforgiving to all , the spells fly the bolters roaring and the swords clash..a battle for the universe across the divide.

Dis Pater has an amazing voice but i must disagree. The high notes of the female singer from the original version give it a more aethereal sound that befits a Middle-Earth elf

I have to agree with this. I like both of the artists and am familiar with MO's way of making music but this...this is not bm anymore. It's well executed, but has nothing to do with the overall genre (very little metal elements as well).

A large part of what made the original great was the massive, booming percussion. Straight metal drumming doesn't have quite the same impact. But if nothing else, the production on this is significantly better than the original (which was awful).
