How does this have ONLY 290 "likes"?? I'm guessing there's.a glitch in the system, because I see that there have been 22,000 views. Surely most of them liked such an on-point performance as this.

This is amazing, without a doubt one of the more faithful renditions of Bobcaygeon. I can only imagine Gord would have grinned approvingly at this.

Thank you! We hope so, too. (we are the band that recorded it)

Yes, I would say you've captured the spirit of the original so faithfully, and I truly enjoyed it. I'm trying to teach myself the song, and have found inspiration with your cover. I have to ask, is this version in an alternate tuning? I've seen various versions (i.e. E standard, some with capos, and some in what I think are more open tunings - I think The Hip may have recorded it this way, but I'm not sure). I'm just curious as the acoustic intro sounds so spot on with the studio version.

@@DylTyrril sorry for the delay, but I wanted to check with Adrian (I'm RoseAnna, his manager). He says it's an "open G tuning." I hope this helps! :)

@@AttaboyAdrian Thank you so very much! Yes, this is what I suspected. It sounds so much like the original tuning, which I believe is 'Open G' as well. Thank you again, and thank you to Adrian! 😀
