Hopefully This List helps anyone out wanting to know the best characters to upgrade cards for as it can be expensive...remember though all characters are viable the s ranked and A in my opinion just a bit more powerful than the rest...For anyone wondering why I put most of the S and A characters first in the video I was trying to keep it under 10 minutes but wasn't able to manage it so tried to let people know the best ones first👍

@@Xizziano True. Most of those who rank some characters low sound like they just misunderstood the character or didn't get to play them right. For me, they are all S tier.

I try not to rush the game because I was hoping that after buying the Season Pass I would get my hands on all the additional characters, including Deadpool. And I really wanted them to participate in the whole story. I wanted them to experience the whole adventure together with the crew and take an active part in various events (the Janitor's meeting, Magic's birthday). However, when I bought the season pass, it turned out that I had to wait until the additional heroes were released. And now I don't understand. Go through the game without them, and then just get them in a few months, only that why do I need them then? Or leave the game for a few months and wait for the dlc characters to have their premiere. I am currently on the hunt for a gamma accelerator. I don't have Hulk and Scarlet Witch on my team yet. So I don't know how much of the game is left.

Deadpool is released within the next week or so definitely this month so hopefully that helps a bit I wouldnt wait around for the rest though as they are bound to be at least monthly so i would continue as normal theer will almost definitely be more to the game missions wise as the dlc packs are not just for the characters but has additional content as well at some points👍

I would probably bump Captain Marvel up to low B-tier, because her damage output is high enough that if you do have a tank, she's viable as the offtank. But that still leaves a slightly unbalanced party. The problem with Blade, as I see it, is bleed just doesn't matter, except perhaps on Guardians and Dread Maidens, things that take turns to die if you're not carrying Patience (which takes turns to come off if you do). If Bleed actually stacked with itself, then this would be much stronger. Of course, that would probably KO parties more often too. So it may be best it doesn't. I want to use Spidey more. But it's always a risk to bring him and then see the environmentals are never close enough for him to use them. When they are, he's cheap, card-free damage. Which is amazing. But when it isn't, it means the mission becomes an epic slog.

Bleed is slow, but it can be a big damage generator, if you use it with a Chain or Area attack against enemies with very high health pools or regenerating Block (Crossbones, I'm looking at you). And it's really nice against Revenants, because their Blood Hunger will cause them to attack the last entity who gained Bleed. That includes their own side, and even each other. It's a great way to get what can be very annoying foes to work for you. That said, because Bleed works so slowly, it's just not my favourite attack style.

Captain marvel is S tier bruh you are just not using her right her go binary is broken and also most of her skill is overpowered like she is a damage dealer and a tank at the same time if you are smart enough to use her on higher difficulty she make the fight so much easier For blade i agree with you like he is too tricky to use because you need to set everything up for him to become usefull cause without bleed he is not that good thats why i par him up most of the time with morbious but he is good when fighting against boss but even that there is still other that is just much better then blade And spide man is not really a damage dealer he is very aoe and support damage kind of guy so i always pair him up at least with 1 damage dealer on the team cause he is good at enviromental and binding and taking out minion compared to his single damage ability

My ideal team is Blade, Strange, and a Light Hunter for a good balanced approach. For a high offensive approach, it's Blade, Carol, and Light Hunter to support the other two.

Just wanted to say that you need to reconsider with Captain Marvel. When she enters binary state, she becomes a powerhouse. The trick is to control either the number of enemies on the playing field, or use a support hero with taunt to distract them away from attacking her. If you do that, she will stay in binary mode longer, and will make quick work of the opposition. She is the type of hero that you lead with, not end a turn with. Unless her move ends in a KO. Due to most of her cards adding taunt.

Magic is so op, that i don't use her. Wolverine actually have quite good survivability, he is good for taking out small fries and applying debuffs like bleed and weak, if you improve his cards. He can tank, but worst of all of them, tho i don't know about hulk, cause i havent unlocked him yet.

Interesting tier list. For me, I have Spider-man in C for the exact reason you said but I have Captain Marvel in S and Wolverine in A. For me, I’ve used captain marvel in a lot of different situations and I feel like she is like that solo character from MCU. She can self-heal her hp and block gauge. She does insane damage in binary both single target and aoe damage. She had team presence with taunt and you can mod her cards to draw 2 in some cases. Cheap heroic ability that does insane aoe when invested into and I have a conceal on redraw one of her cards to mitigate any damage. Wolverine is A for me because I figured out his two usages for him. One as primary tank and one as a secondary dps. I’ve found some mods that help him have synergy with blade and ghost rider operating as a primary dps then running another tank like hulk or captain America for CC. As primary tank, you just have to make use of the amount of status effects Wolverine can dish out. Wolverine, to me, has the best heroic ultimate in the game due to it hitting all enemies restoring heroism on KO and I have a mod to where it has a 50% chance to apply vulnerable. So that means it can wrap around after it applies vulnerable to kill the enemy even if they have high HP. I personally don’t have strange that high but I think I already explained why in another video you did. But basically everyone in the game to some extent can redraw the last card they played, conceal themselves, grant the team +4 heroism, and cure themselves. All heroes scale amazingly well if you are investing to him so just like spiderman strange’s value falls off. Just not that drastically due to astral meditation. So to me I would have Strange in A. I think all supports are in A. All tanks are in A except Captain Marvel who is in S. Blade is in B. Iron Man is in A with Ghost Rider. Spider-man is the only character that belongs in C but he’s the one character I have yet to experiment with so I could be changing my mind soon.

Have to agree, CM is an absolute beast. I also love Blade for his bleed damage. Nothing more satisfying than hitting an elite level enemy for nice damage, and then forget about them, because they will be dead next turn thanks to bleed. Very satisfying

Been a while since I played if i remember correct it will allow you to use another turn when the enemy is ko so if you say had 3 card plays and ko a marked enemy you still have 3 left....It's been a while though so hopefuly it hasnt changed

So cool even the first pick in this vid....hunter is called on of the weaker chars in other rankings. Wolverine is somehow the best aoe and in other rankings weak. Which shows they pulled off a rly good balance between them.

I agree with your list! It’s an unbiased list and it’s a fair list. It’s a bummer Spider-man isn’t an A tier but understandable, he is an environmentalist specialist and he excels greatly on levels with interactives. Wolverine, Captain Marvel and Blade requires good reworks. Scarlet Witch is kinda complex to use type of character but once you get the good mods and right card combination , she is good, I suppose I use her wrongly too as well lol. I am surprised Magick is an S tier for you , I probably use her the least but I should start experimenting with her , she has great positioning setups that can allow the heavy damage dealers like Iron man and Hulk do the most AOE damage in a single turn

Majik was a suprise to me too I really didn't think much of her judging by her cards at first glance but once you put a good deck together she has free cards with either 2 heroism generated or last attack drawn allowing for great card plays from team mates her gather skill is good for applying vulnerable or marked plus groups enemies for big A.O.E attacks and she can do what spidey can but much easier by placing portals to cause massive object damage much much easier ...Limbos grasp also gives her amazing single target damage with the free portals as well....definitely a lot better than I would have imagined and allows your team to have most of the card plays which is always a massive bonus

Blade to me is the best hero in the game. His bleed ability is just way OP'ed. You later unlock some higher tier cards that make even more use of bleed that include lifesteal. He is basically the only hero in the game that can self sustain besides the hunter. He also starts with enough quick cards to refund uses. Said quick cards can also be buffed with bleed. Get his friendship up high enough, and he gets bleed chance as a passive. The RNG on chances seems to be in favor of the player, because they proc commonly enough. There is nothing more satisfying to see enemies disrupted and die on their turns because of bleed. Blade goes on every mission with me. He has saved my but on ultimate difficulty more times than I can remember.

For me wolverine is in A tier if you can get good mod on him. have is chain card mod with 1 more chain also strength on ko with the quick card.so he always in strengthened, combo him with dr strange he doing crasy damage On ultimate 3 i can get to do 1200 -1400 damage with 1 attack card

I think all characters can definitely work and some will appeal to people more than others due to there unique playstyle but some seem to need a bit more help than others to me for example wolverines passive in my opinion is very underwhelming whereas if they had made him generate health on counter his whole kit would work a million times better due to how much taunt he has with very little survivability

One thing I don’t get and I mention this not because I want to argue about tier list but rather because the video is implied to be educational… you mention tanking/healing a lot in tier list criteria but neither of those is effective in higher difficulties because enemies shit out damage so fast it’s like they just ate Taco Bell. Midnight suns to me is like almost all turn based game: action economy is king. Best way to survive is to kill everyone before they can act.

I always was amazed at how different peoplle would see things. Nico, Ghost Rider and Scarlet witch is defiantly in the D tier. I agree that Magic was a hidden gem an easy A teir card. The strongest S tier classes is Hunter, Captain America, Dr Strange and Blade. EDIT...Should have added this is In my opinion and not fact.. posted while sleepy.

wanda without perfect rolled mods is very low down on the tier list with perfect rolls I believe you can get a complete deck with free on it making her amazing for pretty much any team as well as allowing hunter more card plays👍

My current order: 1. Hunter (will be replaced by Dead Pool soon haha). 2. Magik (so broken if played right). 3. Iron Man (best dps in game). 4. Scarlet Witch (her starting kit is garbage, but the unlocks you get later are amazing). 5. Captain America (solid pick for most situations). 6. Ghost Rider (so fun to play, and his damage is insane, I just take a lifesteal mod with me, build stacks on his epic card and have him 1 shot elites). 7. Spider Man (really good when you play the environment attacks well, and his other dps isn't bad). 8. Hulk. (HULK SMASH). 9. Nico (really strong character, and arguably should be higher, I just don't enjoy her kit much). 10. Doctor Strange (probably the best support in the game, just don't find him as fun to play as the others). 11. Captain Marvel (she tries to be a card hog like Iron Man, but with far less pay off). 12. Blade (Bleed is shit in this game and his entire mechanic is based on bleed). 13. Wolverine (shit dps, shit tank, anything in his kit can just be upgraded as an ability mod for other heroes tbh).

For me, Iron Man is #1 because his whole deck, with the exception of Blast and New Plan, is awesome. Yes, he's redraw heavy, but that's what his passive gives, and so do many of his cards. And when you use those redraws to power up Hellfire Beam, watch out! With the right deck, he's the only character I know who can potentially wipe out every enemy on Turn 1 regardless of difficulty. And just keep on doing it. And while heaps of people praise Air Superiority, IMO that's his WORST heroic card. Not bad as such, but outclassed by all the others when you take mods into account.

I see everybody trash Wolverine, but nobody ever mentions his passive, which is that he regens health with every redraw of one of his cards. That being said, he's probably still one of the weakest characters in the game, but that ability to regen does afford him some tankability. Unfortunately, if he taunts the field he's likely to get KO'd, but he can regen even from a KO'd state. Just don't be attached to getting a 3-star rating. Wolverine's chaining ability is second to none. He is the best there is at what he does, but unfortunately what he does is kill minions.
