Walking alone after midnight without worrying something might happen is really a luxury, thanks for the vid 🫡

Seeing and able to share those moments is best thing modern camera technology. Sadly this wasn't possible back in my days... So many things only in my head... Keep up record your own memories.
@tokyotwilight_jp6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. You can record the scene in front of you and enjoy it with people far away, or look back at the video in the distant future and feel nostalgic about the old city. These are truly happy things. On the other hand, I feel that more and more people in Japan are trying to record with their smartphones the first thing they do when an impressively beautiful sight appears in front of them, rather than seeing it with their own eyes. I understand the feeling, but I think it's a bit of a waste... Sorry for going sideways.
@Donmotas7105 ай бұрын
@@tokyotwilight_jp that’s definitely true for a lot of cultures, I feel like people underestimate how amazing it can feel to witness beautiful sight with all of your attention without recording, instead the first thing we think of doing is to record, but its not the same through a screen😔

Thanks for watching the video. I never used to like walking that much, but when I go out with my camera, time seems to pass very quickly in the middle of the night, strangely enough. The joy of being able to share the scenes from my walks with you and the happiness of being able to communicate with you through comments like this is also a motivation for me.

So I just watched 58 seconds of your vid and all I can say is I’ve been looking for someone that can understand how I see Japan and translate. It’s street photography but in video format. I just had to come here really quickly and show your vid some love. New sub!

Thanks for watching my videos. I just started shooting video a year ago, but I originally preferred photography to video, shooting while walking around the city at night. I think that's why I tend to shoot videos like still pictures. It's interesting because I feel like I can feel a kind of air flow there even in videos taken while standing still. Thank you for your kind comments.

@tokyotwilight_jp6 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. I'm sorry I couldn't walk the route you suggested. It is part of it, but I hope you enjoy it. For late night walks, I prefer to walk in residential areas and back streets where there are no people at all and it is quiet, rather than in busy areas like Shibuya or Shinjuku. The most impressive walk so far was a late-night walk along Takeshita-dori in Harajuku, which is a famous tourist spot and very crowded during the day. It was so quiet that I felt as if everyone but me had disappeared from this world.

Thanks for watching the video🇮🇩 It is true that the streets of Tokyo are quiet at night and look like a ghost town, but I don't think I have ever felt scared while taking a walk. Maybe it is because there are many streetlights and brightly lit streets even late at night, or maybe it is because there are not that many dangerous situations in Japan when you walk alone late at night.

@tokyotwilight_jp6 ай бұрын
Gracias por ver el vídeo. El animal es probablemente una civeta. Los animales que se ven en las calles de Tokio suelen ser gatos, perros, ratas o civetas. En las ciudades con mucha naturaleza, de vez en cuando se puede ver algún perro mapache.

@tokyotwilight_jp5 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching the video. In my old videos, I used to put a wind muff on an external microphone. But now I don't think it is necessary to reduce the natural sound, including wind. It may be grating to some people, but the sound of the strong wind that day, so strong that it almost blew off the hat I was wearing, is recorded as it was there, just like the sounds of people passing by, cars, and birdsong.
