My husband and I were in Tokyo on our honeymoon when you posted this, staying at a hotel in Ginza. It is cool knowing that you were filming this video while we were asleep nearby. It's my first time seeing japanese streets so empty. In silence of the night you realize how loud the cars are. This video is absolute tranquility in VR, I highly encourage everyone reading it to try it if you have the headset. I'm definitely taking the atmosphere as inspiration. Thanks for watching the video. I too would like to experience this video in VR. The city is so quiet in the middle of the night that every single sound sounds impressive. Maybe one of the charms of a late-night stroll is that things we normally don't pay attention to naturally come into our eyes and ears.

My camera, Dji osmo pocket 3 settings are as follows Color : D-Log M 4K 24fps Exposure : Auto (-0.3EV, ISO50-1600) Sharpness : -2 Noise reduction : 0 I don't use Luts and do my own color grading. I used to use Premire pro, but for the past few months I have been using Davinci resolve.

I was there not to long ago and my feet were killing me after 20k steps. You just did a 3hr walk, does your feet hurt after that long of a walk? What kind of shoes do you wear?

Thanks for watching the video. The one before this video is also from the same night I walked continuously, so in total I walked for 6 hours, but my feet did not hurt that much. The main shoes I wear now are ON's Cloud Surfer and HOKA's Rincon. Although they are a little heavier than these shoes, I wear ON's Cloud Monster when I want to go forward and forward instead of walking slowly. This shoe has a more sloped sole than the Cloud Surfer, and I feel that my body is naturally carried forward.

It is a difficult question. When I go for a late night walk, I sometimes see women walking alone. Compared to many other countries, Japan is certainly less likely to experience crime while walking late at night. But even in Japan, robberies and sex crimes are not absent. I have received several comments on my videos from Japanese women saying, “I would like to take a late-night walk, but it's difficult because I am a woman.” When I read them, I cannot recommend to women to take a late-night walk without any concern. Even if the possibility is low, I think it is better to at least try it with a friend or family member, just in case something happens. If you really want to go for a walk alone, you might choose the summer when the dawn is early.

電車の音が聞こえてきて大慌てで構図を探ってる感じが動画に残ってますね笑 疲れていてもつい階段や歩道橋に吸い寄せられてしまうのは、俯瞰して見渡す景色に惹かれているからなのかも。
