Having owned a 2018 long wheelbase Metris for 5 years, this van is the best I’ve owned. Great engine and transmission with very good comfort. The engine is a workhorse and the transmission shifts almost without notice. I have about 250 kg of equipment in the back all the time and still get great fuel economy. At 168000 km, I think I may keep it since the new larger vans have priced me out of the market. The only issue I’ve had was a common issue that I hope Mercedes has fixed on these 2 litre engines and that is the crankcase ventilation valve which was replaced under warranty.

I truly would love this over the sprinter. It’s the part where I drive around small towns and making it a personal one too. The height and small size is great for keeping this in a garage or in the parking lot of apartments. And it costs about $10,000 less than the sprinter van I’m looking at. But that one does have a diesel engine which is very good to have in the long run.

Just ordered one for my small business. Just an FYI 2023 is the last year and VERY hard to find. Dealers have informed me the inventory for both pre ordered and for sale is currently stuck in SPAIN ..arrival date UNKNOWN. But what’s coming is a very limited inventory.

I love it as is. not an endless array of bells and whistles to distract. Give me the comfort package, so I can glide on down the road, and I'd do a good thinsulate job and a tiny cozy cave build. with th 500lb slide out the back to extend my hangout space. I'd have an arched doorway cut into it between the seats, or remove the partition altogether. Modular boxes I can store things in and move around to reconfigure, stack, etc. would be my choice, covered in heavy washable canvas, to match the tent I plunk near it. It's in my head now to make it happen.😊

I enjoyed the video. Too bad they're so hard to find. These are much better than front wheel drive tiny ProMaster City and Ford Transit Connect. I know an Elevator service tech who's company provides these, and the mechanics all love them. The USPS tore a chunk out of the market supply chain.

I drive a bare bones white one with the plastic black bumper to deliver and service medical equipment I’ve put 106k hard ones on it. It’s meh, but the crosswind assist has to be the best in the biz. I drive through storms blowing harder than 60mph at 4000ft of elevation no swerving👏

If you though a plumbing job was expensive before wait until he pulls up in a Mercedes Van.

well I own one since 2017 it is Cargo van 144 made in 2016, the only parts made in Germany is Engine and trasmission paint that is "washing" of made in Spain, asambly in so Carolina we made travel van out of ours. Lot better than VW camper van originale price in 2017 $26 000 sugested retail than $29,000-32,000 dipending on extras. So far only A/C copresor bad, repair cost $1499.00 the drive is excellent and we get about 25 miles to a gallon. Not bad van to travel in. We have a pop up roof furnature made at home from 1/2" Baltic ply from Denver 3x California and one time Florida keys. ... is there a better van? So far only 30,000 miles...MB dealers definitely bad ones, comparing to Jeep dealer in town, there is no comparison...bud for a van made in Spain perfect.
