As a lifelong DM/GM my personal favorite feeling is when presenting the narrative and my players speculate a conclusion that I'd never remotely considered, but realize is infinitely cooler that what I'd prepared, then adjusting my presentation to fulfill that player speculation so my players get that rush of deducing the plot. It's like the players have introduced me to a secret in the story and I get the privilege of presenting it back to them as the audience. It's communal and beautiful and one of the reasons I've done this for 43 of my 54 years on this rock in space.

I appreciate these people so much and glad that they will still be around in some capacity or another. I’m far from caught up on midst but jumped to the end to hear the announcement and this format seems like a perfect middle ground. Having Xen live perform the soundtrack to the sessions alone is such a cool way to present this type of storytelling. Definitely will be checking this out and I hope the shift in presentation brings some more critters on board.

The first time I heard that Xen made the music themselves and even improvised some of it I was absolutely amazed, it's so frickin good! Generally, the fact that a lot of what you all did is improvised is incredible. The acting and storytelling of Third Person is fantastic :3 For me personally, season 2 was my favorite. I really liked how the world expanded, with Phineas' heroic opening in the first episode, his ride with Lark and Tzila, the Terror on Midst, the Lazerto and everything that happened there, the introduction of the baron, Moc being introduced into the Trust and growing to like the power and privelage, him being betrayed by Imelda, so many great moments! For me, somehow a lot of these setups felt a little cooler than the eventual payoffs in season 3, but only slightly. Overall, this was an incredible ride and I enjoyed every part of it. Thank you all so much. Really looking forward to Moonward :3

I loved Midst and it’s so great to actually meet the voices and creators in the flesh. What an amazing tale of love, honor, loyalty, betrayal, and community. Third Person is such a talent. Thanks you all for putting together such an amazing story. Some of my favorite moments: -The final dialogue between Saskia and Weepe *chef’s kiss -When Baron Kozma Laszlo makes her first appearance in her submersible. Xen, the music for that moment was perfect. I played it over and over. -When Baron Kozma Lazslo had her dinner with The Trust and was an absolute badass. -Every single moment of Lark. Such a wonderful anti-hero. -When Atticus Concord is killed by Weepe. The tension in the moment was done so well and both answered questions about Weepe and created questions about Weepe that was immensely interesting. Thank you for putting together such a magnificent episodic tale. I loved it. I was never bored. I hung on every word. I waited impatiently for each new episode to drop. I look forward to hearing more from Third Person All three of your voices are so good, I would listen to the three of you read from a dictionary. Bravo and Brava!

Midst is superb story telling, and I thank 3rd person and Critical Role for bringing it to us! I'm holding out for Midst to be translated into a book series. I'm shocked to see how views dropped off over the season and it's flabbergasting, because this series is amazing. Liam seems high, lol. Or he's just shook and thrilled to be there. 😅 It took me 20 mins to figure it out, but Xen sounds and looks like someone... it's Jeff Goldblum.

As much as I loved Midst, I was very happy with the way that it ended. Extremely satisfying narratively speaking. The only thing that would sour that note is if they had come out and said that they were done after that. I don't care what comes next, same universe with different story, different universe different story, hell different universe same story if they thought they could pull that off, as long as they're doing SOMETHING, I'm happy.

As an avid listener of his podcast on Spotify, I had no idea this was uploaded on KZbin, so I'd never seen the narrators faces. I always thought there were just two people doing all the voices, so a 3rd person being here surprised the hell out of me. Plus, Sarah (Lark) looks nothing like I imagined her.
