Drying pumpkin is a good way to preserve them. We are having a lovely summer in South Africa at the moment, been swimming every day in the mountain waterfalls, how blessed are us that live so close to raw nature.

I see you roasted the pumpkin - was going to suggest frying it, which would be similar. I've also enjoyed pumpkin in stews or soups or baked - they are very versatile. I love how you greeted each of the chickens a good morning... Great way to start the day for them! :) The chickens all look so robust and healthy!
