That game really impressed me back in the day. I was playing on console (Playstation, N64) and when a friend of mine showed me this game on his PC I couldn't believe it. I know it might look ugly by today's standard but back then it was way ahead of anything you could see on console. I couldn't really explained it at the time but the framerate and how crisp everything was... It wasn't like anything I could experience on my N64 that could barely reach 30fps haha

I ran the game on 1920 x 1080 (higher resolutions are also possible). For the player cars, there is a color mod, and for the NPC cars I tweaked some of the Midtown Madness code. The game version you're seeing in the video is available in our Discord (see description)

You can only get music working with the original CD, or mount it with software. I added in the music when editing the video.

That Mustang Fastback sucks in handling. I cant get to control this thing. Lost a lot of races and the announcer at the end used to say "Man you gotta respect the classics." lol. How did you handle that car in Nocturnal Navigator? It was pretty surprising

Yeah I agree with you. The Fastback has bad handling. It's better if you use the mouse of steering wheel (I used keyboard). I was able to handle it decently since I drove the car many times before, the "trick" is to give it many small ticks when steering. Pressing left or right too long will result in oversteer.
