Pity the cod didn't turn up mate but at least you saved the blank 🎣 I've also been on the look for a new rod and im pretty much sold on the tip tornado graphex supermatch 👍🏻 going to get it custom built by rossco custom rods , he's a local lad and his work is top notch 👌🏻 Regards Arnie

Alright David i have a TTSM and fish mostly holderness coast and humber a great rod when there,s a big sea on or a big tide running on the river never fished a rock mark with it but i,m sure it would cope no problem. If you fish the Euor,s again next year think it 7th-9th March 2025 give me a shout your more than welcome to give the TTSM a go before you buy 1 lot of money to spend if your not keen. Great video as always. I have a pair of graphex supermatches. Love the rods great to fish with. But I find there are times when I wished they had a bit more backbone. I do have more powerful rods but love fishing with the supermatches. I think the sport would be a better replacement for your SS.

I’m the same mate, got an ss and a graphex sport looking at the super match not that I need a new rod just like you say just like buying gear, think I’d have to pair it with a power aero as you can’t buy a new rod with out a reel, great vid as always mate tight lines

I have graphex sport and pair supermatchs. I use the sport over heavy and cliffs supermatch on everything else. Probably will cope on the heavyer ground but dosnt need to as use the sport. Sold my komp ss and excalibur tt

Oreet marra have you heard much about Harrison torrix p3? Good rough ground rods I have x2 in pristine condition custom built by chris dance ,my go to rod now is the t900 eliminator sgt

do you ever fish small baits, very often on the norfolk, suffolk coast, i would catch cod on the rod that was fishing for whiting with small bait, at times on just a small piece of fish on a 2/0
