MIDWEEK TOADS - SANTA ANA RIVER LAKES

Decided to fish Santa Ana River Lakes on a Wednesday. Fished for half the day, starting on a float tube and ended up the last few hours on shore. The fish were active and managed to get a few. Harry was able to land a couple of toads! All in all a good short session at SARL. TIGHT LINES!

What kind of fishing line do you use fluro or mono? And what test ?

I use 4lb fluorocarbon and on my drop shot rig I use braid on my main line to a 4lb fluorocarbon leader.

Don't waste your money at that Lake it's too expensive at 90% of the time you don't catch any fish you're better off going to Irvine Lake it's free to get in a better variety of fish and only $5 to park
