I was going to post ^^^this^^^... All vehicles go through WAY more wear and tear during transit (other than say, off road or trophy trucks/cars). An extreme example is when Darrel Gwinn's TF chassis BROKE on it's first run after riding across the big pond in a ship to Europe (without any supports under the chassis to keep it from flexing)... He got paralyzed because he didn't have his arm restraints on, in the car but his accident (chassis breaking) was bad enough to make the other TF teams either block or air bag support they're cars when traveling...
@geniferteal41782 жыл бұрын
They make an inflatable airbag kind of thing it's a round circular disc you put it somewhere under the car to take the load off the suspension so it doesn't bounce up and down. Maybe a big car like this needs to one at the front one at the back. Real race car shop sell them. I just mean they're mostly used on race cars.

I won my class at that event so the poor wheelwell moulding was worth it! Later I went back and carefully "clearanced" the offending edge of the rockers by the cut, move around a little, then weld it up method. I added about 1inch per side and never scrubbed a tire again.

Put carbon fiber front and side panels to match the doors and bed cover and paint the roof carbon grey/black. Would look so sick!

I’ll give it to Cleeter. I couldn’t handle groups of people standing around and watching me while I’m trying to troubleshoot or fix something. It drive me crazy.

I saw his set up at street car takeover Charlotte and it was the first time I saw the crowd he gets in his pit. I didn’t even go near it, got second hand anxiety just looking at it from a distance

Easy when they keep their distance. Face in your work is where it gets annoying. Imagine safety, GM, project manager and more standing around watching you work. With confidence it's easy.

You guys gotta save all the successful tunes in a file format like Track/Conditions/quarter time. Just hit the dial when you get there.

Ol' Cleet is getting more and more Ford friendly. Sometimes with age comes wisdom 🤣

@@Drspeiser We just got a 2022 Ranger. Not a big Ford family. We don't have a real brand loyalty. But that little thing is awesome. Not a race truck, but pretty damn snappy. No one else had anything like it for the money.

It's amazing how it still runs a high 7s with the track issues. That would not have been possible with the previous engine

I think cleet is spoiled by having the house of hook right down the road. he keeps setting his cars up to hook at Bradenton and not a lot of tracks have prep / conditions that good. Maybe try hooking up on the street? build a test spot at the FF that has a terrible surface to work on 60's?

Just a wild guess, is it possible the windsheild cracked cause maybe something is twisted/bent after the wheelie slam, therefore causing some tension on the glass?

It does look like the car is crabbing a bit to me, that might explain the one tire rubbing too

@@SynchronizorVideos still seems like when the suspensions cycles something could be funny. But aligned at ride height ya know? Idk
@SynchronizorVideos2 жыл бұрын
@@Beary98 Well, with the torque this engine's putting out the car's going to try to roll & twist under power no matter what. Kevin did align at both normal ride height and with the front suspension extended.

@@Beary98 it's a 3700 lb G-Body with a twin turbo big block it's going to twist there's nothing you can do about it with that much weight the harder you launch unless you make a ton of changes and make it not Street carish he's lucky he doesn't do the G-Body shuffle more
