Midwest Firewood Frenzy 2024 - 2x4 Box & 12-Way Wedge

Letting folks run the Wolfe Ridge 35 SHO BW and showing off its capabilities with both big wedges. We were set up in the middle of Back 40 Firewood and In the Woodyard & Tony’s Cool Tools. Special thanks to the guys next door for cutting up rounds for the SHO to play with. It was a great time, I got to talk with several people who were shopping for a large, fast commercial machine. Can’t wait for next year.

Nope! It was a pretty good showing, especially given the forecast for the weekend. But we did manage some sunshine mid afternoon. Overall it was great. I really enjoyed the Stihl demo tent and the Logosol chainsaw mill.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears to me that matching the wood to the box wedge, or vice versa, reduces the slash from a box wedge. Straighter grain, smallwr box wedge. Nasty grain, bigger box wedge.
