I have a blst riding around on my 2021 royal enfield himalayan. I have done some logging roads and some jeep trails with it. Although I'm currently thinking about trading in for a 2021 ktm tpi 300. 22' 125XC, keihin swap, 150 ktm conversion. Coming from a 14' KTM 300 this bike is light and playful. It carves through the woods like a scalpel but does turn hard enduro into very hard enduro. Greetings from Oklahoma, really enjoy your videos and sense of humor!

I agree. We want to see wheelies. MIDWEST-I have a 300 TBI. Love it! I have the TSP Hard Enduro tune on my ECU. Now it wheelies longer and easier but is so nice and luggy in the hard stuff.

It’s funny you mention you want both, I’ve commented before as I’ve a husky 150. I’m a newb, I’ve just tried a 350F and now want one (or 250 F) for going up hills as that smooth instant torque was lush! Never tried one and was really impressed. I’ve hit a progress plateau in going up hills on mt 150. I’m ok if they’re shallow enough to be able to paddle and clutch with the bike on the pipe. But if they’re too steep to slow crawl and paddle (normally with boggy ruts at the bottom) I’m stuffed as on the 150 you have to hit it with speed and/or be very near the pipe and it all gets a little out of control for me 😂. The 300a and F strokes can hit the same hills from the bottom at standstill I have to take run ups for. So for steeper slippery hills which seems on every enduro I need something bigger to stand a chance of getting up them without going fast or into the pipe and for fun on the flatter trails, mt 150. I can’t afford both though. Damn.

2003 drz400e it does everything I ask of it so far, mines the older lighter more powerful version. Owned lots of bikes mostly 2 strokes maybe I just got a really good one or what but this thing is great

Just came from some riding where we tested back to back the Ktm EXC 300 tbi vs Husky 300 tbi. I don't know what mapping Husky had but it was even smoother than the Ktm and the rear suspension, as expected, much better. The extra linkage is waay more superior to the PDS shock and you can lower the bike much easier. One small issue with the Husky was the clutch lever, which was considerably stiffer than the one on the Ktm but that is a minor problem that can be fixed. Both bikes have a full Brembo line.

It’s not the PDS it is the WP shock. I put an Öhlins TTX shock on and the difference was absolutely amazing.

I had the classic Husquvarna cr250 red and chrome tank when I was a teen and it was an awesome bike. Last 2 stroke was a 89 Suzuki RM250 and briefly A KTM 250. I never would picture putting a 2 stroke arround like that. Surprised they haven't loaded uo and fouled plugs. I think an XR or XT 350 would be better doing what your doing.

You don’t get 2stroke enduro engines. They are all about torque. Low and mid. The 300’s are amazing. They have dominated enduro racing for a long time.

TBI is not smooth they are an absolute rocket ship bro! So much more snap and power than any other bike I’ve ridden. Hardly smooth. The local pros say the TBI is hard to control comparatively to tpi or Carby bikes. Have you had plug fouling issues with the TBI’s in your part of the country? They are fouling plugs for everyone here.
