I hate reality tv with every fiber of what makes me human, but gotdammit these guys are impossible not to like. And if I could buy a beer for any of them, it'd be Monza. That dude looks like he's got some stories and even if he didn't, after enough whiskey he just turns into Sam Elliot anyway. Here's why I'm a fan for life - there was an episode where Chief suffers one of the gnarliest crashes I've ever seen in drag racing (at the fault of the other driver who crashed as well) and before Chief even knew where he was or if he was ok, he says "how's the other guy"? That's some old school cowboy shit right there, true grit as the old timers would say.. Respect from Texas and thank Odin for these podcasts to get me through my shit life..

Was a street racer in the early '60's. A car that could do 11's was fast. Enjoy your guys passion for the sport. We back then were all on a budget.( I held the I/S record in 1966.) My tow car was faster than my race car. Good times. Then Vietnam. Good luck.
