I can't describe how this makes me feel. Especially at this transitional point in my life, where I've lost so much and have so many bittersweet memories that bring me sorrow, yet I still have a future ahead of me that could be promising. But sometimes the memories and sorrow of my past engulf me, and I lose sight of my future...for a time. This reminds me of that endless tug-of-war in my heart between sorrow of the past and promises of the future, which is painful, but also addictive in a dark way. It's a place you don't want to be, yet are drawn to. It's like a reminder of past times which can only be relived in vague memories and feelings, which are evoked by this. An empty place you can't stay in. It must pass on.

Damn…..you painted a perfect picture of what i feel right now at this point in my life. The past almost seems like a completely different world when I think about it, the people I was around, where I lived, the way I felt…..it’s hard to stop thinking about it. It’s like a good dream you can’t stop remembering but don’t want to think about anymore. Just don’t stop thinking of what the future could be or will be, or you will drown.

Theres just something calming, mysterious and downright eery about scenes like this. I think we all have this place deep in our psyche, a cold and desolate place we can go to, to find peace and center ourselves. No other humans around, no animals, just you and the snow.

scene like this minds me of a typical Canadian winter day back home. the music minds me of when I visit the Antarctica and the vast stillness and quietness and sometimes pleasant eerie snow tundra wasteland plays tricks on you. when you least expect it. not like the film "The Thing aka Who Goes There." nor the stories "In Amundsen's Tent." or "At The Mountains Of Madness." just something dark out there and it's hidden but you could feel its force.

This looks exactly like my high school campus in the UK... buildings aren't exactly the same but they are in the exact same proportions relative to one another. Left = main building. Middle = Science labs. Right = Technology / Shop Class

I old sample libraries from the 90s and early 2000s, which were very popular for video game composition at that time like in Silent Hill... and oldschool hardware synths ( Korg Triton Pro, Korg Wavestation EX, Korg M1, Roland JV-1080, EMU Orbit, Yamaha DX7). On the software side I use mostly Arturia plugins. ^^
