Thank you for taking us on a trip to the village. You talk about the local village, and everyone sounds very nice and the village is beautiful. Ivar is such a happy and energetic little guy. Well, they grow up and do what kids need to be doing. It's good to let him just be a child, running around with the animals and playing in the forest. It is fun to see how his growing up and so comfortable around the animals and how tolerant all of the animals are with him. It really does amaze me at how fearless he is around the sheep, and they seem to look out for him. We don't need him in front of the camera, but it is nice to see his new "farming" skills, and how children who grow up like this, have a wonderful and rich childhood, I don't thing there is much he is missing, and so much he is learning. I do look forward to your Christmas video. Tula's crafts are simple and beautiful, things all of us could do. Thank you for taking us along.

My mother's parents were Swedes who came from Finland near Narpes, coming to the USA in the 1890s separately as children. We have their old passports as "subjects of the Czar." Many many years ago we visited my mother's cousins in Finland and got to make hay and put it in the hay shed with them just like you have done in your videos, and had a nice visit (my mother had been exchanging letters with a cousin there for years at Christmas time and special occasions). Seems like my mother and her family used to use Swedish language around us kids when talking about things young children should not hear.

We lost 12 inches of snow hers in our state of Wisconsin/USA. Had four days of 40F then one day of 55F now back down to low 20f. That be -10 for you I believe. But I think it has alot to do with the Solar Minimum we are in. The magnetiphear is very off right now causing iratic high low weather pressure. It just a Solar cycle we are in. It's hard on the farm animals though getting above freezing then freeze again. They handle the cold better then damp warm. Had a little calf with Pneumonia yesterday before of it. We keep some traditions they brought - which includes rice pudding and pickled herring at Christmas gatherings. I'm glad to now know the Swedish word for rice pudding. Thank you. I regret I picked up on very little of your beautiful language, really only remember a few nursery rhymes that imprinted through repetition. God bless!

Hello Matthias and Tuva! I have enjoyed so much watching your channel. I also watch a channel called bushradical. Matthias, check out his blog, building an off grid homestead start to finish.. much different from what you are doing ,, but he has years of experience and says when he builds it’s still 90% just figuring it out. He’s been a cement worker for many years.. please know you are a very skilled artisan in your own right! You are doing it slowly and more difficult but it is the way you want to do it! Excellent work both of you. I am in the cold of western Canada so I understand the long winter.. we fear here for our beautiful country,, I hope we can still remain free to do all we love in life. Appreciate your little family. God Bless you there.

You guy's are so lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful countryside wherever you look, saying that I am sure that living where you do cannot be as perfect as it looks to those of us watching your video all the timer but I am certain the good things far outweigh the ''not so good'' things you have to overcome in living where you do, or is life generally happiness and smiles most of the time for all of you ? I do admire you for living where you do because life cannot be easy for you all but being surrounded by so much beauty most go a long towards making up for the few and far between things that are not so good. Finally I must say that the section starting around 1.18 where the drone is flying over a stream and filming as it goes along was absolutely amazing and I had to watch it many times, before moving on so full mark's'' to whoever thought of recording it ! Thank's so much for sharing the beauty of Sweden and your daily life with us, and please keep sharing more videos with us. Wishing the three of you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.
