The app changed? is it called lookcam? iminicam no longer appears in the appstore
@dkyrtata66885 жыл бұрын
No, I doubt Lookcam will work, but you can try it and let us know. iMiniCam is still available at the Google Play store, so I assume you are looking for it in the Apple Store. Use any of the apps written by Zhang Gang. They are all virtually identical. On the Android side, I have tried HDMiniCam, P2PLiveCam, and MuCam (among others). I use MuCam because it accepts all the camera IDs (UID) of the 5 cameras I own, whereas iMiniCam only accepts 2 of them. That is the most relevant difference between all these identical apps. On the Apple side, your best bet is HDMiniCam Pro. There are others written by Zhang Gang, but I am unfamiliar with them. I suspect most will work.

the look cam app is going well! Yesterday I tried some of the ones you named pro, I stayed with look cam which is the one recommended by the user manual ..... the only thing is that when trying to connect it with the home Wi-Fi network, the clock does not reset, that is to say I can remotely track what happens .... today I will try to bring the clock to the router to see if I can link them

@@juarodes, thanks for the update. I am glad Lookcam worked for you. I tried it but it does not recognize the UID of any of my cameras (none of which are like the one featured in the video). As for the clock, my cameras have two: an internal clock that displays on the Live Video screen and an external clock that displays in blue on the face of the device. When I set the time from the app, it only sets the internal clock when the device has the "clock-set" button on the top. When there is no button on the top, the app sets both clocks. Judging from what you said, it seems that is how your device is behaving. However, the video above, clearly shows (at 5:00) that the app does indeed set the blue clock display even though the device contains the button on the top. So I wonder what affect that button has on the internal clock when you change the time on the face of the device? Are they out of sync? I wonder if Lookcam uses the same P2P servers as the other apps do. It would have been interesting to test that during the P2P outage between August and November. Do you find that it takes a very long time (over 5 minutes) to establish a remote connection (outside your wifi area)?

Choose one of the two other date formats. The YYYY-MM-DD format uses the 24-hour clock; the other two use the 12-hour clock. This is labeled on the Apple version of the app but not on Android.

In Orlando, Florida this product is especially needed. The seedy and cheap hotels hire security guards that are secretly-thieves and Meth-Heads. They will watch you as a group and the moment you leave your hotel room one of them will make a key and go into your room and take whatever he or she wants. Later when you return these employees will lie as a group to upper management and have you ejected or tresspassed from the hotel as a trouble maker. This is an increasingly recurrent theme at the small hotels along International drive. If you video tape one of them breaking into your room the owners usually settle out of court for a good amount of change. these groups of hotel employees and security guards target mainly couples and single men or women.

@dkyrtata66885 жыл бұрын
@@juarodes, yes, now that the P2P servers are operational again, your smart phone should be able to remotely connect to your camera from anywhere in the world (assuming of course, that both have an internet connection -- i.e. the camera connected to WIFi and the phone from its data plan or WIFI). The connection time, however, is much slower than it used to be. Sometimes it can take over 10-15 minutes. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved
