Very interesting you say that because the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is to play this piece in several weeks coupled with Shostakovich`s 8th. I came here to see what my wife and I might be in for and I think we’ll go because how many trumpet concertos are played in concert-about as often as trombone concertos!! Although…the National Symphony Orchestra`s principal will be playing a trombone concerto next season with the NSO. It is possible.
